A huge flag and yet another warning sign is our weak scheduling and inability or effort to get solid programs at apogee. Again Smastrek has seen Minnesota Wisconsin Arizona all roll into Vegas and Purdue usc Washington state and Washington roll into aloha stadium. The best we can get is Houston Indiana and incarnate word. Smastrek can triple the amount of support he is getting by making some strategically inspiring moves. GMG

BYU gets to bring its athletics through the lucrative markets of DFW San Antonio Houston where it hunts for recruits too. Oh yeah and access to south Florida too. Let them bring their network. I have pride in every win leave bummed in every loss. It's a game a really fun fun game and thank gosh we have it. Can't watch it easily overseas when working out there so I enjoy the emotions it brings. Happier emotions last year for sure but memories nonetheless. Ready to plan the 2015 excursions as soon as the schedule is set! GMG

Fitting end to the season. It really stunk and was sad. We win as a team and lose as a team. Use that disappointment as rocket fuel for the journey back to the top. GMG

Imagining mcnlty with all this power over mac makes me laugh. He has to be playing am because there is no one better on the roster he trusts. Doubt it is "his guy." Problem solved by going out and getting someone who wants to come in and get this job. I do believe it is wide open even with am's experience gained this year. Someone like mac does not want to be mediocre or as you rightfully alluded to part of the CUSA underbelly. GMG

Se I agree in many ways. I know I am sunshine in my thoughts but I also realize the deficiencies and am not above asking for: a new AD with marketing visionary saavyness. Coach mac's offensive coordinator - his pick his guy. High energy d coordinator - guys across the board who can recruit and get young guys excited to come to one of the best universities in the southwest. I mean I want hungry on all fronts and lastly a Qb with energy. I can't stand defeated looks. Andrew always looked so disheartened after he was thrown to the turf or threw a duck. I can't believe they let that guy mope around and not infuse energy into the team after he took or made a bad play. I will not be crushed if I don't see AM play another down. That almost fumble on the one was shocking. So come on Smastrek pull some triggers and get this in order. You need a money sport firing on all cylinders like football in Hawaii basketball in Vegas football in Texas. GMG

Wow the positive fans that use to be optimistic are now down and out. If you have no hope you have already been defeated. Never lose that energetic outlook and optimism for the future. Denton is way cooler than San antonio ever will be and I am from sat. Met a guy at mi Tierra who applied at unt and was hoping to move to Denton next year. I told him he was going to love it and wished him well. UTSA fans are who they are Spurs cowboy anything San antonio people. Good for them but we are Denton blessed. GMG

I have never seen chicos hands all over this offense. This is mac ball and sometimes it works but you need the players and size to do it. GMG

I saw some nice ones even got invited for bbq and beer afterwards on way back to car. Nicer than UTep fans but I like utep as a program more. We will beat them one day. GMG

The AAC is not much better with all the privates. I love the makeup of CUSA with western middle Marshall ODU southern miss la tech us rice Utes and San antonio. If UTSA and Marshall leave you call up LaLa and Texas state. Still a solid league and one that will rival the AAC for years to come. GMG
