To each his own . My cousin won a woman's national championship in December as the Libero for penn state ( woman's volleyball fyi.). Couldn't make it to state college or OKC for the championship but watched a lot of big 10 network and espn during the playoffs. Niece is in high school going to 2 UNT camps to try to land on the mean green volleyball team as their Libero along with camps at other south land and AAC schools. I support the uniform especially my alma maters uniform. Some of those la tech and Tennessee programs when I was growing up were fierce! Mean green craving a winner! GMG

It's not like she is coming on green. Well the wrong shade of green. I like the idea of high energy meets connections meets improved facilities meets improved conference. Come in and get us something to get excited about. GMG

UTSA fan unlike others on here I will not concede the Runners quite yet. In fact, NEVER. If we win one game this year I would want it to be against the orange and blue from the south, not the west. I expect the Green to sell it out and get over this disastrous hump of beak that has pissed me off twice in person. I have a ton of family that went to UTSA and I can't stand losing to anything San Antonio - Spurs, Runners...Yet we do it over and over up North. But I hold out hope and if the Mean Green get the memo that we and many on this board have simply bowed down to you over the years - I expect a bloodbath because someone inside that locker room is going to wake up and realize WE NEED TO BEAT THIS TEAM. So bring it GREEN! GMG

Wow. So when I enter a project or any endeavor I enter with the thought process of what can be done. Not sure what season the negative nellies are waiting for. This is not a dress rehearsal. Get on your planes get in your cars go see history. I remember rolling into Lubbock in the 90s and learning a very valuable lesson. You never know. Walked onto the tech campus hoping to keep it close then memory for life twice. The way I see it is that our new WKU game night has us with a prime chance to topple top 25 at home on national tv. Tennessee has the chance to rock the sec and Iowa will be a homecoming of all homecomings for many on out team. Looking forward to the madness that is fall in Texas 2015! GMG

As long as teams are left sitting in the sidelines with good records like what happens every year we should welcome more bowls. Mix in 6th street the desert in winter and disneyworld and that is fantastic especially if CUSA snags some slots! GMG

I am actually really interested to see how this plays out. I mean we hit rock bottom with a solid coach or let's say a coach of the caliber I was excited we got. I would love to see an infusion of energy and passion into that sport and that will get me out to some games. GMG

Wisconsin looks incredible! They get shooting banging and rebounding opportunities all over the floor or should I say they make them. That will be a phenomenal game.

Lost another final four yesterday in Arizona. We will see what today brings. my champion gonzaga has their work cut out for them. Duke stronger than in years past. GMG

Love the beasts still standing. That Gonzaga vs Duke game is going to be epic. Don't bet against Sparty. And I love U of A! This is a great tourney! GMG

The tailgating, rowdy rows and road trips to West Virginia and Tennessee. My favorite - Green Brigade closing song - Never Walk Alone I believe. We never begin leaving our seats until that song has been played. Thank you GB. GMG

Oldguystudent that is so true about the fireworks! It was fun to get onto the field but I always felt it sure did make Arkie State, La La and Troy fans and players feel GREAT!!!!! Check them out they are celebrating us after we just pummeled them on their turf! The worse would be that tragic last second loss followed by green, red, blue and pink fire in the air - ala Ohio! Just say no to fireworks after losses. GMG

I took an unnecessary shot at tony in my post. Not cool. I agree that a change of scenery and game refining can take a player to incredible new heights. This has happened to me in my hospitality career. It can happen to anyone. TM thank you for your contributions to our university and go get'em! GMG

So let me get this straight. Our savior best ever player that ever came through UNT that couldn't play for coach or survive in the nba is now In puerto Rico in a junior league. Yet we hold him up as the reason we suck today. Okay. High standards fellas high standards. Good luck tony GMG

I went to la tech that year for the bulldog beat down in Ruston and massacre in Hattiesburg. Just have to go. My best surprising road moments: 1. Miracle in the desert 2. Texas Tech 1 3. Texas Tech 2 4. Southern Miss 5. la Tech 6. Texas 88- so sad but so proud 7. FAU 8. MTSU win - flu bug nasty but memorable win 9. ASU- blowout loss but jake the snake legend You never know so you always go. GMG

I love the games at home and I enjoy the games on the road. I loved my Houston el paso and San antonio weekends. Too much fun. Now to explore West Virginia and Knoxville. GMG

So I got a weird Final Four and interesting champion when I just filled out a bracket fast and furious without overthinking the games and teams. Final Four Kentucky Arizona Boise St Gonzaga Championship Game Arizona vs Gonzaga Champion Gonzaga I haven't had a weirder bracket unfold since I picked Utah many years ago to make it to win the championship. That was the year they lost to Kentucky in the championship game. Other noteables: Witchita St to sweet 16 SMU to sweet 16 Utah to elite 8 Belmont to sweet 16 (cinderella) LSU to sweet 16 Butler to sweet 16 BYU to sweet 16 We will see. Tonight Go BYU! GMG
