1. The yellow coat service staff was awesome this year! Thank you for leading these people differently and encouraging them to enhance not detract from the experience. 2. The NORTH TEXAS chant with the cheerleaders needs some help. Why doesn't the announcer yell out the letters too, oh wait he is not sure what to do either. This cheer needs a major overhaul. But at the Tennessee game a few weeks back I liked how the announcer jumped into the chants too when spelling out the letters VOLS. What are we doing with this cheer and can someone work with the cheer squad to get some organization to it. You can see 20,000 fans wanting to jump in and participate but not knowing exactly what to do. Perhaps the band can help out too. Let's get this in order for the bowl game. 3. The way we do North Texas in the second half, we need to do Mean Green in the first half. We also need a way to get this started up when the team needs some emotional encouragement. When things got tight in the second half and we wanted to get a stop I wanted us to jump into the North Texas chant to rock the Black Knights a bit and get our boys fired up to make a defensive play. But how do you get that started from the stands. Perhaps when cued the announcer could bring Mason back up to get our loud cheer started. 4. Can we get a banner for the band? I would love the students to unfurl a flag banner but they are not guaranteed to be at every game. Now the band Is and all 4000 of them could unfurl that banner between the first and second quarter or start of the game or whenever. We'll even let them design the darn thing - Best band in the land, Go Green Brigade, Love our tunes - whatever, just get it by next season! Those are my suggestions. GMG

I think THE is important. Jerry and ESPN have done the marketing for us on this. They have officially named this entire region North Texas. I thought that back then when teams were fighting to get to North Texas for the Final Four, National Championship, Superbowl. These are coattails I totally encourage riding. GMG

Mason's confidence transfers to the fanbase. Back on 10.14.17 I looked at my group and said, "I can't believe UTSA is giving us the ball back." Then The Drive happened. Yesterday I had one of those wild thoughts too before the game. I remember the UTSA tailgate being fun but ordinary. I remember after the game thinking I never at the start of that day thought I was going to watch such a historic and epic win inside our very own stadium. At the post game tailgate as we broke out the champagne for an undefeated Apogee season, I remembered that thought going into the game. It was cold, it was windy, the tailgaters were sparse...proves you must be at or watch the game. You never know when you are going to witness greatness and memories for life. Let's outnumber Rice fans next week in Houston! GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!

Just load my season tickets onto a snazzy Mean Green Lanyard and print the tickets out at the gate. It is so incredibly sweet at the FC Dallas games and when I can't make a game I just give my lanyard to my friend and whalaaa they get my two season tickets. It could be so much easier. GMG

I think aggieland is awesome. When my sister was there I loved going to bonfires yell practices and thanksgiving day games against bevo. It’s a cool experience once indoctrinated or semi-indoctrinated as I was by blood. GMG

Did anyone get this on video? It was awesome and a few weeks cosmo the BYU cougar did the same thing dancing with their dancers in sync and got some air pub on the top 10 or you had one job, some excerpt. Either way it was tight and fun to cheer for from across the stadium! Go Mean Green!!!!!

That was freaking cool. The band is the next frontier. Wren and company need to collaborate with this group and have them help us raise attendance and improve the experience. They could be an even Bigger more spectacular draw if they would simply turn their attention from what they want to do to finding out what the public really wants. This is a tall drink of water for them to drink but if they could they could truly learn about what would create even more fans of the green brigade out there in the general public. The Mean Green have a lot to play for so I like our positioning in this game. It is homecoming and there will be a solid crowd. It will be football weather and he students are going to show. Utep is going to be smiling by the end of the game not because they got the W but because they will have winked real hard and caught the attention of their next coach in the Press Box. its like an Oprah show this weekend - you win you win everybody freaking wins!!!!!
