I would go MWC today because we can compete in that conference now. Basketball would grow playing the Lobos Running Rebel’s, Rams and Aztecs. Football would grow playing out in San Diego, up in Boise, at Air Force and over in Albuquerque. its definitely worth entertaining if those schools ever showed an interest in breaking back into Texas, which they haven’t. They are very MAC like in their regional conference thinking. GMG

I actually think NMSU vs UNT in Albuquerque could be interesting. They are solid this year and they would represent strong in ABQ. Of course the highest profile matchup is desired but if this became a reality I would not be crushed. GMG

There are no more students at the tailgate. The hall monitors took the fun off the hill. My niece from twu and her friends hang out with us because our tailgate is more fun and they wonder where the students are like years gone past. The gastapo sits down there in the lower lot excited to make their rounds through the evildoers and then parade them as an example of why you should avoid the little red cup. It’s weitd seeing the hill so manicures and empty on game day. GMG

I like our hire for our university fit. We needed culture building and Seth is creating an identity for us for the long term. Good for Frost good for us. GMG
