You have to play in big games to lose big games. I was thinking, I was there for CSU in our first bowl game in half a century and I was there for our first Conference Championship game. We lost both but it made the wins that came eventually that much sweeter. Let's go Bowling! GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!

The biggest difference to me was their DB's were so fast and got to our receivers right on time. There was clear frustration from the receiving corp because they are not used to that. The running game had to be sidelined early because it was not working and I was afraid it was going to be another 30 plus to nothing in the first half. It was close but not as morale killing as game one. FAU also played crisp all the way into garbage time which I thought was impressive. When they could have relaxed they were meticulous and in sync in all 3 phases. Talk about discipline and a blood in the water mentality. I hope we bring that to our bowl game if we are fortunate to get up on our opponent. Congrats FAU and GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!

I love the entertainment and pride this team has provided in 2017. FAU is an outstanding team and they earned that Championship yesterday. It doesn't take away from our great year and I am eager to head to wherever we play next. Thank you SL and Team. GMG

My only question is how does fau do it in one year. We need expediency to help make the West competitive. The east looks to be miles ahead right now and set to be there for awhile. Championships in boca and Miami for years to come. GMG

At the Fau tailgate we talked about this with some of their fans. Their approach is go get 60 athletes no need for a game plan just play backyard muddy field ball. Florida teams will win 70 percent of the time. They don’t need a skeem just some bad boys to go get the ball. Baby briles entertains them and they have separated themselves like Boise Did from the pac. Good for them. Let’s show Some fight in second half and prepare to win the New Orleans bowl. I am excited for New Orleans. Spent the night there in the drive down to boca. Can’t wait to hear chants of NORTH... TEXAS for 3 days straight. Also big pic here peeps. This bowl actually gets some eyeballs. I seem to be in Vegas around this time and would happen upon this game in the afternoon. The Saturday time slot is good and the sports books were busy with betters excited to cash in on bowl season. You also had the casual fans stopping and watching the games from their table and the floor. Look I wanted a p5 too but UNT can make a nice impact with this bang bang exposure. They are on ESPN 2 tomorrow live from boca and in 2 weeks will be live from New Orleans - 2 outstanding destinations and if we make good noise we are a solid story heading into the offseason. I did not like the date of HOD right after Christmas and Shreveport my working family couldn’t make. With New Orleans we already have hotels booked and travel arrangements made for the weekend. I will be there ready to partake in all the festivities! GMG

I asked this guy to take a pic of me and my friend in Knoxville early this month and he noticed the SOW on my shirt. He asked is that North Texas? I said yes! He was a graduate of unt and he and his wife had moved out to Tennessee to further their music careers. Glad he recognizes the SOW. The brand is working. Also the guy at Henderson tap house, Jaimie (Manchester United hater but he lives our cash and big crowds) said it was cool we were doing so good this year! He commented on the Mean Green jerseys so he knew what was up. He still needs a Mean Green flag and/or helmet to be donated to that bar! Awareness growing! GMG

Troy already has the glossy win, so if we lose to them we lost to the team that beat 9 win LSU. Littrell has put a golden goal in front of this team that they need to win the bowl game to put a star on this season ⭐️. We have a chance of beating Troy. It would feel great to end this amazing season in celebration. Don’t make this the first bowl choice if given options, but blessings sometimes come in disguise.
