Man I wish HBU got a full season because I would follow this spunky team the rest of the year. They are fun to watch and could you imagine an HBU vs NDSU game in Frisco at the end of the year! A bison husky battle in Toyota would be very entertaining. That would have been something to hope for in a year not named 2020. GMG

Agree. This isn’t 2019 where I had high hopes going into the season with Mason as a senior. That dash of hope on the hilltop was more like a gash that sliced deep. I left that stadium dejected, and it felt like we never recovered. I just hope to see continued progress of the individual teams and development of all quarterbacks. I liked our discipline for the most part last week. If we play a clean focused game I will be satisfied. Also hope to see Bean play well under physical and speed pressure. Expectations in check. Tailgating was still happening and just buy a beer or coke in the stands and you can relax the mask. Everyone took good responsibility and social distanced in the lots. Fun game day minus the crowd and green brigade. GMG

I really liked Bean’s performance and there is something about his added dimension that has to entice Seth and concern SMU. I had no idea what we would even see in game one post Fine and with the circumstances. I want to beat the Pony’s for sure, but either way I am looking forward to the growth of these quarterbacks. This is a different animal coming into Denton in a couple of weeks and the whole team including Bean and Aune and whoever plays QB will grow from it. I want to see progress and there will be some bumps and bruises along the way but the guys will be stronger by conference. With that said this could be lining up to be great for the Mean Green. The Ponies don’t know who to game plan for exactly. Bean can offer some high risk high reward options that other quarterbacks can’t. Seth knows he must take some risks while adding in some trickery with a young team and solid squad across the line. If we keep this close or win and get the quarterbacks rich experience, I will consider it a great night! GMG

Problem solved. Bring in The Kason!!! a little worried about our D getting no sustained pressure. HBU has self destructed on several drives. Will be interesting to see how they adjust and perform in Lubbock next week. GMG

At the North Texas Soccer Club and FC Dallas games, Globe Life Park and Toyota stadium respectively, you have to wear it in and when moving to the concessions and bathroom. After that once in your seat your clear. I snack and beverage for 💯 certainty. GMG

I want a full schedule. I just saw SMU’s amended schedule and it is full and lays out nicely for them to tune up with SFA before welcoming Memphis to Ford. Sucks they don’t have a home game until the end of the month but totally drivable ones to San Marcos, Fort Worth And Denton. Good luck Wren getting the 12th date filled. GMG

If they play it smart they could try to pick up a game or two in October or November. Contact all of old dominion’s opponents. Couldn’t they realistically build an independent schedule and rake in the dollars. The entrepreneurial spirit alive and well in H Town! GMG
