I am a former student. I spend the first part of the season trying to get my cohorts out to the games. For the third year in a row this coaching staff has made a fool out of me before the conference games start. (Two seasons ago Patrick returning as rushing champ, Last year J-mo returning as rushing champ, This year J-mo and Johnny Quinn). I have 8 season tickets and I cannot give away the six I am not using. My rant will continue until we improve. As a donor and fan I will not accept where we are now, and I refuse to give up on improvement. I believe that brighter days are on the horizon.

Just a coach who doesn't see this as a "difficult situation" but and opportunity would be a breath of fresh air. I can't wait to here what DD has to say if we have a poor performance on Saturday. It is too bad that we do not have a radio show so that we could look at him face to face like last year.

I thought we could win against Tulsa, in fact we were in the game through the third Quarter. I didn't think we could beat SMU, and I thought we would manhandle MTSU, so it's anyones guess which team will show up on Saturday.

Corky Nelson has Parkenson's disease and is retired from coaching. I talked to Scott Davis last year and he said that he had talked to him and he looked real tired.

Bobby Ray gave him a buyout clause. There are a group of donors right now that would gladly pony up to pay for it.

Darrel will not resign because of his buyout. RV is going to have to drag his sorry butt into his office and fire him. We can only hope.

I have a complaint about how I watched the game. I was slumped in my seat sulking for part of the game, laughing out loud for other parts of the game, drinking more beer than normal because of my agitated mood, not yelling for our kids like normal, and realizing that a huge loss followed by another huge loss next week at homecoming is the best thing that can happen right now. I am glad that fraud has been exposed. I feel sorry for the defensive coach, because I believe he is a heck of a coach.
