Right now, I am broke. I was looking for any reason to get out of renewing my club seats this year. Instead of quietly going off into the night, I thought I would put one more jab at the thing that I love so dearly and sacrificed good hard earned money for, only to be kicked in the crotch on multiple occasions. If for some reason it looks like Coach Litrell is pulling it together, I will drive up there, walk across the bridge, and find someone with extra tickets so I can get in the stadium. It wouldn't matter if Hayden Fry or Mean Joe called me and asked me to renew, I just can't afford it right now. If anything other than this is the case, you need to renew your club seats. First of all, I need to have my left hip replaced, so unless it is some fancy smancy function that I need to wear lace ups, the shoes just slip on. Since October, we haven't hired a new football coach, with a new coaching staff, signed a 5th year senior quarterback, signed the TWO TIME STATE OF OKLAHOMA PLAYER OF THE YEAR, defeated top 25 (and still in the top 25) Oklahoma in womens basketball, defeated top 25 Baylor twice in womens softball, completed a dedicated state of the art golf practice facility........... Yeah nothing has changed since October 29th. I pose this question, Who is the bigger idiot? The guy who continues to donate money because he believes that he is making a difference in a university, and the lives of young men and women who attend that university? Or a guy that rants that because one person is still employed, that makes everything else and everyone else a failure, yet he still continues to support with the minimum financial commitment he can to keep his tickets? #itsallajoke
