    The OSU has to travel with OU myth is not true. OU is able to do whatever they feel best suits their school. Paul Finnebaum just said it's mostly likely going to happen, and we'll end up w/ 4 power conferences instead of 5. All 4 conferences will have 16 teams. There will be some decently named schools that end up in the lower tier conferences (IA state, Tech, etc).

    I'm not sure how they think our defense will actually be worse than last year or our offense less effective. I think we're going to keep games alot closer than people think by running effectively and getting 2-3 more stops a game (God forbid a few 3 and outs). We have skill and some really solid recruiting classes the last few years that should provide more depth and athleticism. Who knows though, maybe I'm just too optimistic.

    Whoever in Michigan called in just now to get Mel’s take on Darden...props to you! Mel has him as a 3, but thinks he will be a steal in 4 or 5 because of so many receivers.

    I seriously doubt anyone leaves thinking that UNT peaked. They all leave for the betterment of their own situation. It is their right and God speed. Look at how many blue chippers are leaving ‘basketball schools’. It’s happening everywhere and it’s not great for the health of the sport. People hardly know any players on teams anymore, and it’s having a direct effect on ratings and attendance.

    Hey coach, since you’ve been here you’ve run the same ridiculous play up the gut in short yardage situations. I would venture to guess it is over 85% of the time that you call that stupid play. Never do we see an imaginary idea. Anytime we have a nice gain that’s close to a first down, we also love to rush to the line and call the same smash up the middle for no gain. It’s 3rd grade play calling and beneath someone making your money!! Pathetic.

    When we blitz we bring them from 15 yards back, so they get there about 3 seconds after the ball has been released.

    Look at what we did to hbu, and then they almost upset Tech. Week to week things change. I’m hoping the davis’ are back or we may be in for another lashing. I just can’t believe how slow we are on defense. I’m not so worried about the offense. I think Aune is the answer. Everyone is letting the game’s beat down optics skew how pretty good he was.

    Great tackle on 4th down. We are a laughing stock. Take all of these 3* defensive players and shove me up your ass. They’re awful. Sorry, but after 30 years of garbage, I’m running out of years. To not be competitive is unacceptable. We have the most expensive staff and great facilities and we still suck ass. Happy birthday to me.
