Everyone does it but I hear ya. I had a good look at one of our defenders at the ECU game the other day (who shall remain nameless), and I couldn't believe how thin he was. No way he was close to his listed weight. With some people you can't always tell, but this was pretty clear.

I agree. Olawale rode the pine most of his time in Denton, and we all saw what he was capable of with the Cowboys. We're entering the time of year where I truly hope Mac gives some of the underdogs a shot.

I'm definitely for some JC help at those positions, but I'll take a tough receiver of any size as long as he can catch, run, and has the instincts for the position. 6'3" and above WR's who have the agility, coordination, and toughness to excel on any level above HS are a rare breed. Hopefully our transfer out of Austin will have that area covered.

Yes, as previously stated, I bet they're going to try and make us prove that we can shoot from the outside. We've got to play tenacious defense and get plenty of buckets in transition if we're not hitting. I suspect that's a big part of Tony B's plan.

We just seem basic and bland on both sides of the ball. Sure we have personnel limitations, but you would think that we would have made some significant adjustments by this point in the season.

Well, for the most part we can't blame it on special teams, penalties, or turnovers, so I guess that leaves us with certain areas of our offense, defense, and coaching. Plenty of blame to go around within all three, and I will say that winning the time of possession battle every game is simply not winning us the battle on the scoreboard. Correlation?

I sure hope that we go 6-6, but a 3-9 would make it pretty tough to recruit into that 5 year plan. If you don't seriously get better by year 3, that 5 year plan could end up getting extended.

After we win today, we'll have the same record as the powerhouse Cougars, and we played two of the top five teams in the country.

Pretty impressive shooting stats last season. Especially from McDermott. I'm guessing they're going to start Gibbs at the 1, Manigat at the 2, McDermott at the 3 or 4, and the big guy Echenique at the 5. Not sure who the other starter will be.
