I would contend that there's a guy on our OL who has the size, strength, quickness, and aggression to switch over to the dark side and have the impact that we're looking for. Hope our coaches find him.

Of course there's no absolute age limit, but the NCAA stupidly has rules in place that try to keep guys in their upper twenties from playing for fear that they would have a competitive advantage. Somehow I think Sarge has a year or two before he has to try on his first pair of Depends.

Just think how low this class would be thought of w/o the Juco's and transfers. I don't think DM had any other choice but to go in that direction, and I personally am counting on those guys to play a big part in sending us to a .500 or better season. This is obviously a crucial year for everyone involved.

Anyone think we have a chance for our second victory of the season over a team with a winning record? We're running out of chances to accomplish that monumental feat.

Why can't you understand that it's up to Benford to mesh these guys into a team and keep them from being just a bunch of "random dudes"? I sure hope he's your daddy, because it's pretty obvious to everyone else that he has done nothing but turn a very solid team into nothing.

Not all QB's need to be 6'6" if that's what's bothersome. Canales driving out to Carthage is a pretty good indication of our interest. Great numbers, and I like having a guy come in with a full 3 years as a HS starter under his belt.

Hope that interview wasn't on Channel 21, because things are embarrassing enough as it is. I wonder who it is exactly that he thinks he can beat? I don't see it happening, because our opponents seem to be able to do anything they want on both ends of the court once they adjust to Benford's coaching. Sad.

We've got a couple of other transfer guys coming in who were also 3 stars coming out of HS. The thing about this class that gives me hope beyond the star system, is that a bunch of these guys are proven track guys who are clearly excellent athletes, and with good coaching excellent athletes can add a star or two to their resumes real quick. Sure the overall national rating service numbers for this class are less than impressive, but this class just has a better look and feel to it than some of our other not so highly rated classes. It is what it is, and we shall see.

At least we've got some key transfers with stars. I'm OK with this class regardless. Time to win.
