Interesting article. If CUSA wouldn't have added so many after NT and LT then I suspect that we would have some near-term blowback teams to CUSA. With the way it stands now, who knows.

The press conference is ridiculous. Why hold a presser for something that is basically a bad reminder of what could have been. Dumb idea IMO, but BOL to Mr. Mitchell regardless. Of course it totally depends on who they hire at HC, but I wouldn't completely rule out their hiring him as an assistant. Let us hope that he suddenly has some kind of a HUGE incentive to move back toward home ASAP. At the very least that could help us in a negotiated buyout scenario, since it's highly unlikely that he would voluntarily give up the position and relative big bucks that he's chewing on here. I guess a perfect timing dream like that is about all we have to hang our hats on at the moment.

At least the odds have improved a bit. Strange as it may sound, I somehow have a good feeling about this tourney. It may just be a thing that when you hit bottom there's nowhere to go but up, but some gut feeling tells me that we're going to do well. On the other hand, it may just be the hot chili and cold margaritas that I had for dinner.

Long and Mitchell have just got to reverse their numbers this time around. Long killed us in all areas of the game the first two times, and Mitchell basically did nothing. I sure hope we have a plan. A new and improved plan.

Replacement shouldn't even be in the conversation until we fill it up a couple of years in a row. Hell, I'd be happy with a legit half full.

This game is so far away that I don't think anyone knows anything about how it will turn out. But then again, what the Hell else is there to talk about around here since we have no BB. Btw, that's both BB's.

Let's just hope that for once we turn out to be better than anticipated. Unless we are somehow able to pull a promotional rabbit out of the hat, I'm afraid that a nice winning record at that point is the only way we're likely to come anywhere close to approaching 20K.
