If they would be more consistent it wouldn't bother me so much, but the 3 inch 25 pound stuff really bothers me. Not talking about Kaydon at all, but when an LB is listed at say six three 225, and a guy who is` around six feet 200 appears to be around the same size as the guy, it just wreaks of BS. Not saying in any way that we are the kings of that kind of BS, because I have seen it all over the place. A little reasonable honesty would be refreshing. One inch and a few pounds of BS would be acceptable for gauging these guys from afar for me.

And why is it that we think a 6'3" 300 pound center is somehow short/small? Makes me think that I wish we would keep the roster exaggerations to a minimum.

So do we pull for Marquette? Probably not in my case, but maybe the resume boost might help Benford in his quest (?) for a big man.

Sounds like we could use someone from the OL to cross the line and do the switch over ASAP. The odds are that we will have more DL injuries, and we could run out of experienced bodies pretty quickly.

Actually I thought it was pretty depressing. I planned on going to some road games this year but went to a total of zero. The writing was on the wall from the get go. Of course I will still have hope for next season (skeptical optimism) if we can somehow find a quality big man.

If everybody moves up we're looking at the beginning of the new 1AA. We're running out of time to start winning. And winning big.

If he goes, maybe he can take a couple of his hasty additions with him.

I suspect our rebounding ranking wasn't too bad simply because we missed so many shots. Oh well, at least he helped everyone improve their fashion sense.

I have to disagree that winning won't help. I think there has been a basic culture change on campus over the past decade or so, but unfortunately that change has been crushed under a mountain of losses and overall disappointments. You could see some genuine enthusiasm building when Dodge got here, but we all know what happened there. I'm not sure that we can use JJ's 20 win seasons as much of a gauge, because we really didn't beat anybody for the most part, and our fans clearly have very little respect for the SBC. We win in a better conference and they will come. Maybe not in Big 12 numbers but they will come. Too bad one guy played a huge role in our not being able to gauge our support with a winning team this past BB season.

Wow. I never knew that Horrocks was drafted, but they had more rounds back then. I guess he was a Jon Koncak type hopeful at the time. On the subject of the thread, I have no doubt that TM will make it. Just how big he makes it will likely depend on his offensive development down low. Best of luck Tony.

Since there are only 124 football playing schools, #113 as an SBC school is about as bad as it gets.

What kind of speed/quickness does he have? I wouldn't be surprise if his size is a bit of a stretch, so would MLB be feasible? Thinking a season ahead, we're looking like we could be in even more trouble at DT once Abbe and Boutwell graduate. We're gonna need some serious stepups.
