    After the first few there sure is a lot of "arbitraryness", but I guess Mac probably should be ranked somewhere around where he is at this point. Bailiff at Rice probably shouldn't be ranked in the hundreds since that is never an easy job.

    I wonder if Benford has thought about targeting some of those 3-Man teams out in western Texas to fill our remaining ships. I hear they play some pretty good ball out there, and we might have the inside track since that's his home turf.

    Hope you're right, but having been at the Tulsa game a couple of years ago, I certainly had some serious doubts.

    I agree. The more schools that move up the worse it is for us, and the only way we can gain any separation is to flat out win. Liberty and Alabama in the same classification? Ain't gonna last.

    True. That infamous BB national championship was a LONG time ago. Also, the party factor in Juarez for 18 year old recruits has now lost much of its glitter. I'm a lover of the American West and enjoy visiting EP, but committing to 4-5 years in El Paso would be a definite NO for me.

    Please bring it on ASAP, but if it has to be put off one more year due to a buyout, no tears will be shed here.

    If that is the case, are you basically saying that RV hired Benford to keep TM around another year? Pretty short sighted by RV IMO. Especially when we're talking a FIVE year contract.

    Face lifts don't last forever. Especially when you just gave a veteran player who has never really done anything good for your team 108 million.

    Could be because we were 326th in the country in assists this season, and he thinks that 5 PG's on the court at the same time will rectify the problem.

    I wasn't around in those days, but your average college coach back then didn't make much more than the equivalent of today's middle school P.E. coach, so we're likely out of luck as far as resignation goes. Wouldn't hurt to try though.

    As many have said before, we cannot afford to NOT get rid of this guy. My crystal ball sees only a couple of hundred fans in the stands after the fourth or fifth game next year. Gotta cut off the leg before the infection spreads elsewhere.

    Looks like it's time to ramp up that BB walk-on program. Wonder if we can find a`walk-on AD and use the savings for a buyout?
