Not that I'm counting on Voss to be the second coming, but we actually could be bigger next year when you consider that Franklin was supposedly 6'3" and a half. Maybe not more athletic with the loss of Mitchell alone, but probably bigger depending on Coleman's development and who actually shows up and gets the big minutes. I sure hope that JW gets more involved in the rebounding aspect of the game. We need his athleticism in going after those loose balls and we didn't see a lot of that last season. Overall, I'm feeling a little better about the roster at this point, and when I say that I mean to emphasize the word "roster."

If I remember correctly, isn't Arkansas Tech literally in the shadow of a nuclear power plant? Haven't been through there in years, but I remember that as being kinda scary looking.

There's still a few big uncommited JC guys out there with some skills, but you're most likely right. At this point, I'll take any big body with good defensive skills, since the little we were able to see of our sole returning big man was not inspiring in any way.

Yes, this is the year of the Mac. If he doesn't end up close to .500 (5-7 and above), I suspect that he will enter Benforddom as far as criticism is concerned. He's the guy in charge of recruiting, so he has to make the best out of what he's got. I just hope that he turns out to be a guy who can somehow turn 2 star players into 3 and 4 star players in bunches. He has got 4 months left now to get his message across to the combatants.
