That record against ranked opponents is by far the worst blotch in our record book. We've got to do something about that, and quick.

I'm not sure if that's best or not, since a real wet day often means smashmouth football, and our lines haven't yet shown that to be their forte. Especially where size is a big issue. I guess a dink and dunk passing game could possibly be on our side in that kind of weather. A lot of it is obviously going to be put on the coaches to make the right adjustments under those conditions.

Pretty pathetic. You would think an AD could at least scan the Sunday paper (or online) every once in awhile and glance at conference standings. That is kind of his business.
