  1. Rob Lowe is a more talented running back than I thought. Nice win over a Wyoming team that I had pegged as better than usual.
  2. I have to admit that I'm impressed with San Antones ability to score, but I think we make mincemeat of that defense.
  3. Didn't even know that Georgia State was full-fledged FBS already. That sure happened fast.
  4. We're not much for giving tickets away. I think we're in the wrong thread btw.
  5. I used to love bye weeks. Not so much this season.
  6. Wonder if he can throw the ball? On rare occasions of course, but I could see the defense biting on an end around only to see him hit a receiver downfield.
  7. Might be interesting, but I'm scared that if we ever get 10,000 fans for the opposition in there, that it could be modified to "A-po-thee, A-po-thee, A-po-thee."
  8. Or on the wing, which would equate to solitary confinement.
  9. Ah, we all know that every game is a biggie, and we proved that today to a top ten team for nearly 75% of the game. I'm just a little more optimistic about the future of this program after what I saw today.
  10. I guess I just prefer the half full vs. half empty philosophy. Not easy to do when you've been a Mean Greener for over a couple of decades, but that's my story and I'm sticking with it.
  11. Kinda like saying Black punters? RIP Reggie Roby. He was special. Speaking of punters, great job by Macek today. He looks like he could be special himself.
  12. You weren't looking ahead, we just took it to you. That's a lame excuse for our competitiveness.
  13. I'm buying into the guy. Good instincts are key at the position, and he seems to have them. Not a bad tackler either for a young guy.
  14. Yes we can. Rice is the biggie. We've just got to stop the big plays in the secondary.
  15. We look well coached. Not a whole lot of mistakes when you consider the talent of their QB.
  16. Thanks. We played you tough, but couldn't run the ball. Overall, I think the rain was actually a negative for us. Your QB definitely has Heisman potential. Very talented. Good luck, and hope we play again this decade.
  17. That's always been my thought as well. As in TCU, USC, etc.
  18. Lucky you! Man, I wish I were there.
  19. Looks like a lot of rain tomorrow, and that could minimize the long passing game a little. Anyone know if their natural grass tends to get particularly sloppy when wet?
  20. That record against ranked opponents is by far the worst blotch in our record book. We've got to do something about that, and quick.
  21. I'm not sure if that's best or not, since a real wet day often means smashmouth football, and our lines haven't yet shown that to be their forte. Especially where size is a big issue. I guess a dink and dunk passing game could possibly be on our side in that kind of weather. A lot of it is obviously going to be put on the coaches to make the right adjustments under those conditions.
  22. Pretty pathetic. You would think an AD could at least scan the Sunday paper (or online) every once in awhile and glance at conference standings. That is kind of his business.
  23. If he didn't show, I want him at sunrise. What does he want, a curling team?
  24. I'm not going to do this because I NEVER predict a loss. Oh what the Hell, NT 38 GA 31.
