Yes, I think 8-3 would get us a vote or two, 9-3 gets us at least close with a bunch of votes, and 10-3 definitely puts us over the top for the first time since the 70's. No room left to stumble unless we lose only one and come up with a big bowl win. I can see us coming home with a`lot of confidence if we can take these two on the road.

10 years of Boise-like play and it's possible. Big 12 with anything short of that would be more than a minor miracle.

I'm hopeful that UTEP brings a few thousand, but I would be surprised if San Antonio brings much of anything. San Antonio pretty much has zero alums who grew up with a school football team, and the grads until the last very few years were overwhelmingly from San Antonio. Hope they surprise me.

If we thought the Tulane game was important, then this one is HUMONGOUSLY important. Hate to say it, but If we lose tomorrow and don't take BOTH of the next two road games, this season is just about shot. Being 3-5 coming back home for the Rice game would absolutely suck. We need a crowd tomorrow.

Yeah, I wish we would had seen more bench guys in the Idaho game, as well as the 4th Q at Georgia. Every other game has been extremely tight, and he seemed to go with the top rotation throughout. Sure would be nice to have a blowout on Saturday for a lot of reasons.

Never knew we had numerous players out of Denton. That's always been one of the many complaints around here. Well, in the 1AA days we did have quite a few from Pilot Point, Sanger and such, but Dentonites have always seemed to be few and far between. At least relative to what we would like.
