Same goes for me. We had a good time two years ago in every aspect but the game result. I'm scheduled to be down in The Woodlands area for Thanksgiving, but would sure like to turn around and make the trip again. We shall see.

Yes, it's a tough call since the vast majority of us would prefer to be in Dallas, yet if we are in Dallas, we don't have much more than a snowball's chance at breaking into the Top 25 for the first time since the 70's. I guess that's just one of those conundrum deals that will happen how it happens.

The Liberty isn't too bad of a drive. Get on I-30, cover the whole state of Arkansas, and you're there. Wonder what Beale St. is like on New Year's Eve?

Yes, ECU would pick up much more BCS love by beating UAB, NC State, and Marshall, than we would by beating SA and Tulsa. ECU needs to lose a game for us to host. Even with an ECU loss it's not a 100% host for us, since if they were to lose to NC State and beat UAB and Marshall, the BCS vote might end up being a close call between the two of us. Regardless, they need to lose one and we need to win out if we want a shot at two more home games.

Kind of my thoughts also, but I also think there's a chance for a Mac respect vote or two at 9-3 if we blow out our final two opponents. Our opponent and performance in the bowl game will obviously have a lot to do with where we end up.

I know we're still a long way from figuring this out, but from today's action it looks like Vandy is moving into the picture in Memphis, and Iowa has increased its odds of making a visit to Dallas. One of those two destinations is looking more etched in stone for us every week. Thoughts? Great win for us today btw. Had a seriously great time.

He is/was coach and AD at Allen Academy down in Bryan. Don't know if he's still there, but he was involved in one of his customary cheating scandals a couple of years ago. I think he got away with that one, but he "allegedly" was recruiting and paying off inner city Houston kids to play for him. Swell fellow.

It really is insane that we're playing them. We should AT LEAST be playing Dallas Baptist if we just must play a small school from the hills of southwest Dallas County. I've been on their campus several times and it's tiny. They've always had a pretty good baseball program though.

Possibly 5 games left. If he brought us back from the jaws of defeat in our fantasy game against Notre Dame (or Iowa for that matter), many would change their tune. Too early for a definitive answer.
