Yes, I tend to agree with others who seem to think that Mac is going the stealth route here. Not much film out there on McNulty, but I'm guessing that they have plenty on Greer from both HS and JC. Probably spring game film as well on both.

TCU was 5-6 the previous year, and they did have a huge question mark at QB simply because Tye Gunn was constantly injured during his career, and they really had no one behind him. Hey, maybe we'll end up going 11-1 ourselves after beating Texas?

Unranked MWC TCU had a lot of question marks in '05, and opened with a win at a highly ranked OU. I believe that TT had Top 20 votes when we opened on the road and beat them as a 1AA team back in '88. It's not unprecedented.

I'd love to see teams like Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, Colorado, or Berkeley come to Apogee. None are year in and year out powerhouses, and the size of the stadium wouldn't be a huge issue. Outside of the state, I prefer looking westward over eastward for "Power 5" opponents at Apogee.

I've got plans to be at this game, and I'd really appreciate it if they could confirm that they will be able to field a team. It's just not fair to the fans to drag us on like this. Fans are people too.

Yes. We beat UT and lose to both SA & smu, and even end up with a 6-6 record and a bowl, I'm alright.

Realistic points. I would bet that the majority (easily) of the regular posters on this board have driven drunk before, but likely only a handful have done something such as stealing TV's from a Walmart or beating someone to within an inch of their life. Not that I hope these guys are lushes or stoners, but hopefully intoxication is a partial excuse for their stupidity, because that was one REALLY stupid thing to do. For their sake, hopefully getting caught straightens them out and keeps them from having a long future in Huntsville. For our sake, I think their fate should be based on their overall character, and I guess that is just going to be left up to Mac and the justice system.

Sorry to hear about the RS burn. I was thinking 3 years, which certainly would make a difference. Sure hate to see talent wasted, but unfortunately that is a daily occurrence.

My thoughts exactly. You have your fairly obvious bad seeds like an Aaron Hernandez, and you have young people who screw up and then straighten up. I don't know enough about him to have an opinion either way, but it sure would be nice to have a potential playmaker of that caliber.
