We gave Mac Iowa, Iowa, Florida, and Wisconsin, so somehow I think he had some input into our schedule. Assuming he's not coaching elsewhere, it would be interesting to see what will be going on in Mac's head when he's watching us in Gainesville next fall. Hopefully not too much laughter.

Whether we lose or not, that school doesn't even cross my mind more than one week per year. I couldn't care less about them.

That's kind of where a generational difference kicks in among Mean Green fans. I'm generalizing of course, but most of us born before say '75 - '80 could find a way to attend pretty much any school we wanted in this part of the country with the possible exception of Rice. Younger people have faced a much more competitive college entrance environment, and the lack of satisfaction with their "second choice" is a hurdle that must be overcome. Winning on the athletic field/court is the only answer to that. Winning brings pride and loyalty, and we need people at the top who care about and recognize this obvious fact.

A victory at Middle is not impossible considering the way they're playing. Of course our offense will have to wake up the scoreboard for that to happen. Surprising how close the stats were today by the way.
