Probably because there is just no easy answer at this point. I guess i could live with something along the lines of grandfathered AR/AK and clip capacity restrictions, but I have my doubts that it would improve the situation. Again, just no easy answer without causing a boatload of upheaval in this country. Think I'll invest in rent-a-cop and surveillance stocks as this stuff continues.

So true. No way can we win in the trenches (Mac's philosophy) until we show consistent success and recruit the big athletic boys. Initially, we need to put serious points on the board and hope that we can find a way to throw together a tough defense. Scarily, that sounds a little like the TD days sans the tough defense.

When you recruit as badly as we have under Mac, S&C can very well be the most important coaching position on the staff. I agree that the new guy didn't have a lot of time, but that is an area where we plain and simply have to excel. Every year.

Never paid for one in my life, but I think their bread generally sucks and the overall sandwich feel is just not good. Maybe it's because my teenage nephew used to deliver for them and I ate way too many of his old leftovers. Naw, Apogee is our anchor. If we were still toiling away in Fouts, quitting the game would no doubt be on the table in the minds of many. We're in it for the long haul thanks to those who got us Apogee. I'm the same way. As a kid I grew up wearing Baylor gear on occasion (parents), but would never even consider wearing as much as a school hat that didn't have an NT on it to a college sporting event. Loyalty.

Apparently Benny was absent from coaching school the day that they stressed saving timeouts for the final minute in close games. Disappointing once again.
