We'll win tomorrow. Bank on it. I proudly admit that I was the only person on this board who predicted our late season run. The only game I missed was the Little Rocks game. Btw, we will finally get our revenge on Little Rocks in the final, and then we will go on to upset a big name team (crystal ball is cloudy) in the first round of the NCAAs. Bet your house on it as well as your first born child. I'm almost always right, yet I am also very humble. See you at The Dance!

Please don't say that we have a "horrible" basketball history, because that's what the people with loser mentalities around these parts would like us to think. Maybe I'm living in the past, but we were pretty damn good during the Blakely era, not too bad under the Gales and Jankovich eras, and we're working on being DAMN GOOD under the JJ era. Some of the posters older than me can attest to the fact that we had some pretty good teams even before Blakely. Time to convince everyone that we are for real!

Coach Jankovich is in OT on Ch 11 right now for Illinois State if anyone wants to sneak a peak. He does look older but it has been awhile.

I know the answer. Lingerie for the women and speedos for the men. Guaranteed to work. At the very least we'll get the gay and lesbian crowd to show . Also, could have filled a dozen buses if we had the right waitresses serving snacks and beverages.

I think there may have been more Italians than Greeks. Nice to get the win, but not a great turnout for likely the last home game until nearly Thanksgiving.

Definitely Tramiel as first or second team. Of course it all depends on how the tourney goes, but I would think that TT and possibly Johnson would get a look at some honor. Do we even have a 6th man award in The Belt? If we do, McCoy is starting to look good there regardless of his cumulative minutes.

Next Sunday is McCoy's 23rd birthday, so let's hope that he scores 50 in celebration against Middle Arkatenn State University.

Let's pack the PIT for once on Wednesday and show them that we're serious. That's the only way we get any alternative consideration.

Helluva win. I'm starting to think that JJ has been saving our secret weapon all along. Don't anyone tell the Dukes and North Carolinas of the world about it, because it's still supposed to be a secret. Quiet now!

I do think that Johnson is developing into an adequate point guard, but I still wish that he and Josh weren't on the court together so often. They're frequently having problems getting off their shots on the offensive end, and defensively they are getting shot over way too often. Dennis isn't exactly a defensive giant, but I'm more comfortable having him in there against bigger guards than I am with Josh. As Christ said in the previous post, size was more problematic early on, but from what I saw at the Little Rock game, Josh and Dom together are probably going to continue to be jumped on by some of our bigger and more athletic opponents. So happy that we have a couple of big guards in a surging McCoy and TT to help alleviate some of those matchup problems.

If he's still in an NT uniform on St. Patrick's Day I'll love him even more.

And we've only had our butts kicked once (Houston) all season. Strange and unpredictable season.

Nice stat. I like those top five getting the start and the majority of minutes with Dennis coming off the bench. With the exception of White's minutes, JJ seems to be moving in that direction. Can't say enough about White's great freshman year as well as his fantastic performance a couple of games ago, but I still think his minutes need to be cut a bit until he consistently proves otherwise. Playing White and Johnson together so much on the perimeter has clearly made it difficult for us defensively as well as offensively against many opponents. That was very evident again to me in the Little Rock game. On the other hand, with only three guaranteed games left I guess there's not much time left for anyone to prove much of anything. Let's hope that JJ can figure out the best mix.

Putting the ball on the floor in the lane, NO; throwing the ball away on a nice board, NO; showing his athleticism on the non-dunk and dunk at the end, YES! Just wish the guy could consistently hookup his brain to his hands and he would be just fine. In all seriousness, nice blowout game for the FOURTH time in a row. I'm looking for at least four more. I say we win them all. And it won't stop there, because the opening NCAA tourney games are on St. Patrick's Day, and I won't be the only one in the country toasting the Mean Green with green coolade on that day!

Told you guys that we had turned. Just like we did late in the season two years ago. We have a lot of talent on this team, and I still think we'll sweep. Not looking past the Monrovians in any way, but let's all make an effort to be there for the Small Rock game. A dominant performance in that game could really help push us through the SBC tourney to the BIG DANCE AGAIN! LET US PACK THE PIT!!!!
