  1. What comes of this? A separate weight room and football locker room expansion has been sorely needed for years. https://www.lightthetower.com/
  2. Does anybody who's in the know have any idea who were the other coaches who interviewed or were considered for the job when Seth was hired?
  3. I don't necessarily disagree but due to his poor roster construction we've never had a big class with this many guys playing meaningful snaps. If we do hire a new coach, having this group for the next two seasons will be huge.
  4. Earle, Gunnell, JD Head, Ragsdale, Johnson, Adaway, Adeyi, Jordan Smart, Detraveon Brown, Damon Ward, Roberts, Alderbing, Duncan, Blair, Gallo, Roach, Pickett, R. Brown, E. Jackson, Trieb, Jordan Brown, Texada, Nick Nakwaasah, Logan Wilson, L. Thompson, D. Williams, Harold West A few unknowns in there, especially the QB position, a couple guys injured in the spring but would have played (Nakwaasah & D. Brown) unlisted scholarship players who still have plenty of time to figure it out in Khatib Lyles, Dorian Morris, Bryce Linder, Christian Lee, and Daxton Byers there is significant talent in this class. I don't know how many of these guys should be juniors due to COVID, or how many still have a redshirt year, but if we can keep them on campus, and one of the three QB's show they can play we should be pretty damn good. We will be fielding 20+ talented seniors with a whole lot of experience in 2024 if we can keep them out of the portal. There is no excuse for whoever is coaching this team next season not to win at least 7 games.
  5. Really wish the first score counted and the holding didnt happen this has just wasted another 3 minutes with an inevitable touchdown coming.
  6. "More truck owners are switching to Ram" will be in my dreams tonight..
  7. Shades of the bowl game vs. App. State
  8. Really think we're going to struggle today, hope I'm wrong.
  9. Credit where credit's due I can't be a pessimistic negative nancy this week. Still at a loss over the non targeting call. Dirty hit in general, sad for Adaway and that RB room is getting thinner and thinner. Wonder if we will see Farrar or maybe more designed runs for Horton.
  10. They have muffed a punt on their own ten and a kicker with 46 career field goals missed a gimme. 6 point swing, a TD drive is badly needed here.
  11. Adaway completed uncovered in the flat on that third down play as well. So many wasted opportunities, same story as last week.
  12. You have to be invited to the combine. The guy is 27+ years old and he's not Brandon Weeden. His completion percentage and age will have him written off before it even begins.
  13. Is your biggest inspiration Skip Bayless?
  14. Just be prepared to be sold on the fact that we only have a couple senior starters and how many players from the two deep are returning in 2023 when we finish 6-6 and no news of a firing comes down the following week.
  15. Agreed this makes it seem like there were a bunch of people asking for this. Even in slow-mo the push off doesn't look that bad what was the point of this?
  16. We can absolutely run on WKU, I have no doubts the run game will see a big bounce back. But we're not built to play from behind, and I could easily see the defense giving up 42 points. Seems right to me.
  17. Winners win, period. It's another dissapointing loss in a big game, after winning three easy ones. Hard to see it that way because we did play well, but we didn't play well enough, and that's what we pay $2,000,000 a year for. It really sucks because I have been the BIGGEST negative Nancy on the forum lately and I found myself cheering for Littrell today. I just don't see any way we go to WKU next weekend and pull off a victory, two losses to WKU and UAB and we might as well pull the plug.
  18. 31-13 UTSA Prove me wrong please.
  19. I hadn't heard of that bridge until recently, I have no idea. But I do know I wouldn't step foot in that mansion on the west side of I-35 in Sanger. Apparently it was finally bought a few years ago and expected to turn in to a wedding venue but, again, work has stopped shortly after it started. Everyone who has tried to make something out of that mansion has had something bad happen to them. If you look on reddit you'll see stories of people exploring it and finding evidence of devil worship. You couldn't pay me to go there.
  20. If Coach Mumbles is to return next season after miraculously winning the conference championship this should be our number one target in the transfer portal.
  21. While we're up in arms about people who've had their jobs for far too long I can't help but wish we had a different beat writer. Softball questions, very little access to team besides weekly press conferences everyone can watch, no inside sources, and a view of where North Texas should be that's based on the past.
  22. This has been the case for a few years now, for whatever reason we never had a big senior class which makes a big difference on the field. 20 years old vs. 22/23+ is a big difference, both mentally, experience wise, and having two or more offseasons to shape a players body. 2020: 13 scholarship seniors 2021: 7 scholarship seniors 2022: 6 or scholarship seniors, unsure if our kicker or punter are on scholarship. And again, only 16 scholarship junior players on the roster. I could be wrong on some of those numbers because of the extra covid year, but the point remains we have been devoid of large senior classes for years now.
  23. This was in reference to Mason Fine before our meeting in 2017 and the drive by the way. I was banned on CSNBBS for screenshotting this with his exact quote and making it my signature way back then, I was told posting a forum members picture is against the rules as if I have any idea who this nincompoop is. They are CHARMIN SOFT.
