  1. Whatever this dude's name is... This douche that was on Real world Las Vegas
  2. Oh believe me, I have about 20 people confirmed for the opening game. Students from Tarleton, Tx State, TCU, NCTC, CCCC. Some were hard sells, but I bugged them enough to get a yes. And my parents who have never been to a game despite living in Aubrey for 53 years will be in my two seats on the alumni side, even bought them hats and shirts for opening day. I'll be over with my friends on the student side going crazy, can not wait for this, it's been a long time coming.
  3. Thank you, thank you so much for all your hard work. Things are so much better now than they were before you came here. I sit here today, 2 days away from turning 21, and a normal student my age would be excited to be able to finally drink legally, however that's not the case, I sit here today excited to watch my team play in the palace they so desperately deserved. My first game was homecoming vs. NMSU in 2004, only 14 years old at the time my mom drove myself and 4 friends to the game, saw Buckles light up a WR coming across the middle and I fell in love. Since then we have all been die-hards, it's been very difficult no doubt with kids my age and trying to explain to them the culture change but we are no doubt a legitimate division 1 university who is, all things considered in my opinion the class of the sun belt. Once you add a winning football program in, we're head and shoulders above the other programs. From the bottom of my heart, as a die-hard lifer who even bought season tickets this season instead of just getting in free, thank you, thank you so much for bringing us this palace and I can't wait to see the mean green take down Houston. Sincerely, Jake Wilson & the rest of us. Click here to view the article

  5. 3 STRAIGHT TURNOVERS!!!!!!!! I don't have the video feed but were those fair calls, seems like they're trying to get FAU back in to this one.
  6. I really hope we won't play keep away for the last 7:30 of the game, that never seems to work out well for us. We really seem to be fighting with everything we got right now. Come on guys GMG!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, Tristan Thompson is BEAST!~1@@@@@@@@@@@@@1!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Wow, we really need Edwards to have a solid 4 or 5 mins for us right here. GMG!!!!!!!
  8. Wait, are Odufuwa and White playing?
  9. On theoldcoach.com's hot 100 for 2012 located here That should put him at 3 stars on rivals, but you never know it's pretty early, if he gets a few more BCS offers I'm sure they'll bump him up to 4 or 5*
  10. We got U-verse about a week ago. After 20+ years of basic cable channels 1-60, with no on screen guide, and not even a TV guide anymore, this is just fantastic. Absolutely incredible.
  11. QFT. Read the topic and thought, hmm, a nice change of pace only to be disappointed.
  12. Wow, entirely too many skill position players there. I know, I know, we really don't have the official recruiting board from the new coach, so probably half of these are no longer real offers, but dang, I say we need to sign 6 or 7 d lineman, and 3 or 4 o lineman this class. I really don't care if they are perceived as FCS caliber players. We need depth in the trenches, and if we sign 11 or 12 on both sides, 3 or 4 at least will end up panning out. We really only have a handful of reliable players returning, I am starting to fear us having less than 3 or 4 wins next year when I really look at who is returning, if we don't have a decent QB, having Lance won't do anything for us next season. Come on Dan, pull a rabbit out of your ass and sign some players we have no idea we are after. This first class and season in the new stadium is crucial.
  13. Given how poor the rest of the sun belt has performed, it is absolutely crucial that we do Sour best to finish strong,if we want to have a good seed in the tourney. I think at 26-2 with wins over LSU and Texas, I think it is most certainly possible too win out, teo, I am fully confident that we could do it, however, it would not shock me to see us drop atleast 2 conference games, maybe as many as four. Knox has had a few good games, hopefully his confidence will build and we'll have a somewhat decent compliment to George. GMG! Can't wait for tonight!
  14. Overall- 59-81(with non D1 wins included) VS. Division 1- 47-80 OOC Minus UNT- 37-78 We have 1/4 of the sun belt's OOC victories this season. What has happened exactly to make the sun belt drop so far down? Wasn't it just a few years ago we were in the top 12 of RPI in conference strength? What can we expect in the future from the our conference mates? Tasty or CBL, could one of you answer these questions please? Is the sun belt so pour this season because the majority of teams are young and inexperienced or is it just a talent issue. I don't know what to make of this, I could not be more happy with the success that the basketball program has had, it's been a nice substitute so to speak from the abysmal football program we have had the last six years, and I don't see us falling off anytime soon given the class of 2011, but I don't want us to be a basketball school primarily. WKU and USA have been pretty good over the last 5 years, but they have fallen off a lot, what will it take for schools like ULM, MT, ASU and FAY to take off? The sun belt has regressed the past two years in both football and basketball this year. The WAC imploding will help with football, but I am really concerned with the future of sun belt basketball, we need to get out of this conf. immediately. I know that's like beating a dead horse, but the only sport the sun belt is a national title contender in is baseball, and we don't even have that. Here's to finishing 25-2, hopefully our conference mates will pick it up.
  15. Whatever you do, don't get suddenlink.
  16. I can understand peoples dislike of all black unis given what happened in the past. However, black + green looks good, it just does. I hate our unis we have had the past few seasons, they're just bad. Home=Green tops/ green pants black belt Away=White tops green numbers/ green pants black belt black pant stripe Alternate= Black tops/Black pants white belt green numbers/pant stripe You guys are acting like putting black in to the combination somewhere is the same as having a uniform like Oregon's. It's not, lots of teams incorporate black in to their uniforms, and it would be awesome to have a blackout day on one of the games in the new stadium.
  17. This one is fine with me, the other OL commit though, who won't come back until 2013 is just puzzling though. We need help now, why waste a ship on a guy who won't even report for two freaking years. It just doesn't make sense to me, not at all.
  18. This team is 17-2 in their last 19 games. Of course this is dating back to last season, with the only losses coming to K-State and Kansas. Regardless of how close the wins have been this year, this team is scary good. Who's ready to say 25 wins this year?
  19. Is this one going to be available online?
  20. Sloppy game to say the least. Given how bad we shot from the field we are very, very lucky to have pulled this one out. I think we shot 35% from the field and I would assume it's only that high because of the late effort in the second half, wouldn't be surprised if we shot less than 25% in the first half. Knox just had a horrific game once again, I'm trying not to harp on the kid, but in less than a minute seconds he gave Rice 5 points and 3 fouls, we need to sign two JUCO big men or a transfer at the post for next season or we are going to be in big trouble.
  21. I agree, plus, you never know what is going to happen when you sign a kid from California and he's living all alone for the first time in Kentucky of all places. I don't know what kind of a town WKU is in, or even the name of it, but I'd be willing to bet he started to double think his decision on that alone.
  22. I think it will be pretty close Something like 76-70 good guys
  23. I agree Riley should be the starter, but I would really like for him to rehab his arm if possible to regain anything he has lost. You really can't write off Thompson before this season even ends though, to be honest, none of us know what he is capable of. He got injured before he had a chance to do anything. I think it will depend on the new coach a lot, and to be honest, I would prefer a bad-ass JUCO QB who had the arm strength of Thompson and the scrambling ability of Dodge. We are going to have to hit the JUCO trail hard this off season and not just at the QB position. The only places I see us being okay at for the future are LB, WR, and HB. We're gonna need to sign JUCOs at DT, DE, T,G, TE, FS/SS, CB, QB. I would not be suprised to see us sign 8 or 9 JUCOs at the least again. I sure hope they will pan out. Like I said, this depends on the new coach, but with conference realignment happening every day, we need to put ourselves in the best position to take a CUSA West spot, a winning season in the new stadium next season is crucial. I have no doubt in my mind the Houston game will be sold out, but if we go out there and lay an egg, I bet the next game won't. The new coach needs to get impact players for next season, not three years from now. If we get stuck in the sun belt, this program is doomed and might as well go back to FCS. No matter how much the belt improves, or even if the WAC survives and takes the spot as worst, we will never be able to make a BCS bowl in this conference, even if we went undefeated. I got totally off topic, IDK, Kansas loss + ULM loss= Me getting shitfaced tonight.
  24. This one takes the cake. "True. We win this game 8 out of 10 times, but that is assuming we make more than 11-19 from the line 8 out of 10 times against UNT. Singletary should be NOT partcipating in any practices the remainder of this week. He should be shooting foul shots the entire time for each and every practice until Friday night. THEN, after practice, he should be sent to the film room to watch the practice he just missed. Repeat daily until Friday night." Are you freakin kidding me? 8 out of 10 times? really? Am I mistaken or did I see one team completely outplay the other last night? These ass clowns... Surpised we were able to win last night given that there were 3500 tech fans in attendance LMAO.
