  1. Must have sports package to watch game on Directv.
  2. I really doubt there will be a working link for this one, I hope so but I doubt it.
  3. Their front seven save for the Nose is pretty undersized and I would hope that leads to more open running lanes. Do they run the 3-3-5 as their base set? Maybe I am just reading the chart wrong but the 3 linebackers range from 190-210 lbs. and the extra OLB/DB is 190 as well. We need to run the ball and use our size at OL & TE to win this game, end of story. I'm not sure the passing lanes are going to be there the way the were against Ball State & Idaho.
  4. Commits to Tech We still have a shot at this JUCO OL, recently rated a 4* by 247sports. http://247sports.com/Player/Corey-Clements-34229
  5. Hahaha. How is that even remotely relevant? Who cares about all of this anyways, all republicans & democrats are crooks and the sooner you realize it and quit paying attention to things like this the better off you will be.
  6. There are an abundance of double digit victory predictions, I think that if we win it will be by a slim margin. They have good players on both sides of the ball, a few of them were players we recruited heavily and missed out on.
  7. The worst part of the thread title is it could pertain to so many things UNT football other than attendance. We have a long way to go.
  8. How many true freshman does Tulane have playing? That 2013 class they put together was quite impressive. Anyone seen Royce LaFrance out there?
  9. Up to five offers now from UNT, USF, Texas Tech, Memphis & ECU. His updated 247 page listed us, Tech & Memphis as warm, USF & ECU as cold.
  10. Wow, we bitch a lot about how thin the DL is but next season we're going to be even thinner and that's hard to comprehend. I guess we'll plug in Austin Orr for Abbe (-50 lbs) and Lincoln for Boutwell (+20 lb.) and hope that by some miracle a combination of Haboul, Sir Calvin, Dutton Watson and Syd Moore will form a formidable rotation inside. I'm not writing off the young guys but it could be a while before we see another all conference player at DT.
  11. I was shocked he was retained after last year. I was even more shocked when there was an article released over the summer where he talked about how much his wife influences the football program(I mean recruiting and day to day things, not raising money or things you would expect a coach's wife to be doing) and in the same article he admits to "star gazing" from the recruiting website. I'm sorry but if my coach admits he has let Rivals evaluations have an affect on who he recruits I would want him gone instantly. Not that Rivals is so incredibly wrong, but that just blew my mind reading that. I'd like to add I absolutely love it. And I love it even more than Aggie is the dominant program in 2013 and looks to be going forward.
  12. I'm glad a lot of our coaching staff has remained intact but Nelson was a carryover from Dodge and I wouldn't be upset if he was let go after this year. 5 years as the DL coach and I could be mistaken but I don't think we have had one all conference player in that time.
  13. Anyone else concerned that this is still a constant in year 3? Not only is there no pressure but by the second half our DL is tired and teams start running at 5 or 6 yards a carry on us. Our DT rotation is Abbe, Lincoln, Boutwell & Orr. 3 of the 4 were signed by Dodge. Polk was signed by Mac but he is incredibly undersized. I know that Dylan Macdorman getting injured is just dumb luck, but what about Terrell Brooks? When you lose two guys who were 300+ in the 2011 & 2012 class how could signing 250 lb high school DT's be a good strategy to offset that? How do we not at least sign one JUCO DT? How do we not have some guys signed by Mac making a difference on the DL in year 3?
  14. Has anyone else noticed the extreme homerism oozing from the announcers? Not that UTSA hasn't looked impressive so far.
  15. Man, if you really gain enjoyment out of coming to UNT's football forum to attempt to troll us I can only imagine how sad and empty your real life is. Ohio has lost two senior starting offensive lineman and will now have to shuffle players around. I think our defense can go toe-to-toe with their offense now given those losses. I have no idea how our offense will fare against their defense though. For now, I will take Ohio by 3.
  16. Ohio getting picked apart by the consensus first QB to be taken in 2014 NFL draft (Top pick if not for Clowney) isn't something to draw conclusions from. This is the same UL team that stomped Florida in the Orange bowl last year. I hope Ohio can get something going here. It's never good to play a team coming off a lopsided loss.
  17. Maybe this forum will just collapse if their isn't a QB to bash.
  18. How is this going to affect the balance of scholarships? I don't want the new coach in 2015 to be screwed from the get go and have to figure out how to allocate 7 open scholarships in year one with a program that has seen 60+ losses in 3 years.
  19. The current RG Bernardeau looks like he couldn't handle a bull rush from a 13 year old right now and was beaten badly repeatedly in Arizona so even though reports are the sides aren't talking I agree.
  20. The only problem is 2 of the top 5 are walk ons and the transfer who was supposed to be the deep threat this offense has been lacking is in competition with one of them for the 4th WR spot. Also, I don't know how anyone could have an idea on what areas of the team have improved, we get no information and what little we do has been pertained to a QB race most of us knew in our hearts wasn't much of a race. Can we get an update on any of the redshirt freshman? How the DT's have looked? Who is impressing at DE? Which OL players are in the mix aside from the big three? How are Lancaster & Schrapps progressing? are Warner, Busby or Zed challenging Trice and Lee? how many true freshman will see the field? DQ Johnson? Status of Quenton Brown? Twelve...more...days.
  21. That's unfortunate but he flashed his quickness on that play, he made the player in coverage look like he was in quicksand. I'm praying for an injury free season for the Boys and Dunbar especially.
