More websites will evaluate him the closer we get to next football season, it will be interesting to see what the consensus is on his draft stock. He's right in our backyard I'm sure the coaches have had plenty of chances to evaluate him. The fact that ULM is his only offer is more telling than anything.

That guy called offensive plays for a FCS team with a QB projected to go in the 3rd-4th round, maybe as high as the 2nd. He could be the next Saban, or he could be the next coordinator who moved up the food chain thanks to a special player only.

I don't have any sympathy for the kid. First off, he was foolish to turn down Rice out of high school thinking they were too small time for him. Then he decides to transfer to OU? He will not sniff the field there unless Trevor Knight leaves early for NFL draft in a couple years. If he's allowed to play for OU he will last half a semester and then transfer to a JUCO, and then likely be faced with the same situation coming out of high school with a lack of AQ offers.

Henderson has already switched to A&M, and the other two have offers from schools like Oregon, Oklahoma etc. I could be wrong but I think DJ Williams of Lufkin will visit us once official visits begin. Let's hope Mizzou fills up before then, landing Williams and Washington would be an incredible way to round out this class.

UTSA brings back like 19 starters. I know replacing Soza won't be easy, but they will likely be favored in that game. They beat us fair and square away from home last season, we have to do the same next season.

He played in 8 games as a true freshman, even with the injuries this looks like a solid addition to me if true.

Indeed, unfortunately with only a couple of spots left news will be sparse. But atleast we can be confident those two spots will be filled by quality players and not random off the radar guys we hear of 4 days before signing day. Also, we are in a dead period until Jan. 15th with no contact. I wouldn't expect much on the recruiting front until then. Very odd the NCAA implemented such a long dead period towards the end of bowl season.

Commits to Idaho. I don't think we ever offered, I'm going to quit jumping the gun on new offers that show up until we get to the 2015 classes evaluation period.

Of all the players listed above only Lundblade(we're not in top 3) Chumley and Wilson are uncommitted. I wonder if we will take another player on the offensive side of the ball.

I believe we could take a high school & JUCO defensive lineman with last two spots. We may only have one spot left but if Xavier Washington of Cedar Hill & a guy like Brandon Thorpe of Highland CC want to pull the trigger you have to find a way to get them here. I sure would like to have Terrell Brooks(played in 4 games for Baylor this year) & Dylan Mcdorman on the roster going in to 2014. There's not much you can do about a bad attitude or injuries though. On the bright side there are a bunch of guys who haven't seen the field yet waiting in the wings. Most have been redshirted and given time to develop, hopefully a couple of them will be able to hold their own next season.
