The Class of 2015 actually had 4 of 8 JUCO signees make an impact here which is a freaking miracle considering how poor coach Hac was at evaluating players. 16 high school signees. LB Mcnair, WR Bradley, WR Bendy, DT Harrison, DE Howard have all left or didn't make it to campus. I could be wrong but that will leave us 11 scholarship players from the class, without being creative this class may hurt us in the long run as much as the class of 2012 did.

CUSA has done well in bowls the past couple years, we've also played...No one. CUSA as its setup now is fine, but the next time teams start moving if one of or all of UTEP/UTSA/Rice leave we won't be singing the same tune.

That SMU team is loaded with talent in the freshmen and sophomore classes who have all seen the field we would love to have. They are still a year or two away but the talent is absolutely there and Morris would be dumb to leave unless a school like LSU wants him. I don't see how any coach in his right mind would want to take the Baylor job. No parent of a high profile recruit is going to want their kid at Baylor.

I didn't expect us to beat Rice, Marshall, and especially not an OOC away game against Army whose stadium is quite a ways away in a game we were 18 points underdogs in. I'm happy to eat crow, the best part of this season is the coaches absolutely have something to sell come December/January for the class of 2017. All I'm saying is we need to be prepared to bump up the pay for our assistant coaches after the season or they won't be here long.

Hopefully we will share a conference with a service academy soon enough, Air Force. Army would be a great addition to CUSA though.

I just don't see this as a victory. I think most expect us to win because of how poorly Rice has played. I think we're outmatched in the trenches and even if the QB play has been poor I will take the team with a senior QB at home vs a team with a freshman QB on the road almost every time. ESPN3 is free, very accessible, and can easily be viewed on your TV via HDMI cable or Xbox. This helps with recruiting as well. I don't get why we have to bitch about everything.
