How about this for you? It's not a bad estimate... but, they actually have a notch where 88.3 is in Mesquite, Tx... the good news is that you are out of that notch. Find a very high point and have a long range antena pointing to just north of Denton. I put an extra antena on top of my house just for KNTU because the house is in that notch in the broadcast coverage area and it worked very well. But, I do live in the DFW area. Use the sound systems set up for the bands and stuff to play a pre-recorded CD with a lighter version of the music that will be played just before kickoff on the stadium PA/Jumbotron (ie ACDC Thunderstruck but slowly build up the tempo) with occational reminders by a good PA/Announcer voice saying stuff like "30 minutes to..... (drum roll along w/ the music) Game Time!" etc... etc... so we count down to kick off and get all of their bratwurst-n-beer full guts out of their chairs and into their seats. It would work.

Ummm... No. SMUt screwed themselves. Yes, they cheat just like other programs do. They got the death penalty because of the arrogance they showed to the NCAA during and after the investigation. SMUt just wanted to keep doing their under the table business as usual. It gave the NCAA no choice but the kill them. Hey, at 0U, they knew enough to act like they didn't know about the payments and then pretended to do something about it.

And, how will this defense react to getting some rest in the game? Do they know how to get on the field without gasping for air? They may see some time on the sidelines... can they handle that change?

Yes... college bball... they schedule games like that. But, how do we get spanked like that by Ak State? I don't understand that. I don't get mad at just about any win... ala ULL... DodgeBall - will again)... and in BB until about two years ago (drive up from Dallas for the new game time... to see us not do well?)... I agree with you rcade... I wish no ill on anyone... but there are alot of people who would not be too upset with a 400k check to go away... and his comments and actions were very out of line.

I agree with you guys... Dick could perform well here if he gets the proper protection and we have good ball control. And, now with Dodgeball here... you can only imagine what can come of this team. We could be effective in the 2-minute drill or the long sustained ball control drives.
