I just got home from the game... I thought there was about 2200+... so I was close. I must say... I am getting to love the Pit Crew. Some pretty funny stuff comes from over there. Keep it up Pit Crew!

I just saw some very nice highlights on the very end of the "FSN Final" on Fox Sports Southwest! The Pit looked so packed and active. Very nice guys. GMG!

Um, the officials should be calling a good game in any game. I've seen this homerism BS too many times. Let the teams play the game. Can we not complain about a bad call when it is obviously a bad call? What does the score have to do with it? Nothing.... well, except when one of those calls stops a drive, kills a team’s momentum, etc... it is why I don't care about the NBA. Full of chicken shit.

Oh, man... Smitty, I found out about Bill Mercer's new book, "Play-by-Play" from this post. I went to a bit of trouble finding a bookstore nearby that had a copy. Several had sold out including the Denton location that held a book signing with Bill just this past Saturday. I just finished reading the first 122 pages, the one all about football, and could not put it down. I lived a few of the stories he tells and remember them well. He talks a lot... I mean... a lot about NT in the book. If you really want a deeper understanding of the history of UNT athletics, from its own broadcaster (1959-1994), this is a must read. Oh, my, my...
