Oh, no! You've got it all wrong. It's not based on opinion, the BCS rating is based only on completely valid perceptions of people along with how well those teams have played in past twenty or thirty years. How else could you determine the best team each and every year? Opinion? Blah!

I'm not sure what some of you were looking at last night or when, but when I finally arrived midway through the first quarter, both sides looked quite full. I thought the press box side had more fans. But, I couldn't believe just how many people were still tailgating in the parking lot. Also they had huge tents with large crowds in them. I saw this when I was walking from the Super Pit all the way over to the press box side. It was a wonderful day, but the game started as night was falling. The nice day turned into a cold game night.

We just don't have the payroll system setup like UT and OU has. And then there is the thing about those "tutors" who go to class for them...

Amen to a better center-hung scoreboard. Also, get better lighting on the playing court. Dim those damn court side ad banners because they are too bright for the fans and the video cameras (they look terrible on TV when they are so bright). The Pit is still a very nice BB arena otherwise.

I'm sure many of you also noticed that they had "Regional Scores" cycle through and almost had no scores on them even though those games were done before our game started. That makes us look totally stupid. I can't think of any good excuse for this. Don't get me started on the other issues with the jumbotron...

Well, that depends how you define "Beat". We did beat them in 1988, but just not in the final score. Not sure if want to open up this can of whorns. Just ask Tasty sometime, he loves to talk about the '88 Texas game.

I wish I was still so young and adventurous... I will be there later today though...
