I know Eric Soza from when I coached in Beeville and he is a great kid and a very good athlete........ But he didn't even sign there initially (which make retiring his jersey weird, considering he once wore a TXST number) Maybe TXST will retire his number too??? jk jk

I played DE at NT from '03 to '07. Son of a coach. Coach currently. Never been around or seen anyone with a cup on in football.

I'm in houston and I would love to see it packed when I flip on the game! C'mon Mean Green nation. Crowd size at this game will have an effect on recruiting later. It's hard to sell a kid when he sees no one in the stands for a big game.

The D in the Early 2000's was ranked nationally in the top 10 and top 20 a couple of years. So I wouldn't personally go that far.... but i do appreciate your enthusiasm for the our current D and I too am Impressed by the enthusiasm they play with.

Does anyone who got free tickets need to get rid of two? This is the first game of the year that I could make it to and my father and I are excited about the game but I haven't gotten tickets yet so I was wondering if anyone had two extras that weren't going to be used.... I can't wait to see the new stadium and watch us beat the hell out of Muts. I thought it was worth a chance asking. Go mean green!!

I played under Coach Bliel and I greatly respected him as a coach and more importantly as a man. I pray that he and his family be blessed and comforted. Was there any mention of somewhere people could send their well wishes and regards?
