I was listening to live 105.3 this morning and one of the personalities from the russ martin show was doing a spot, advertising the tailgating at the fiu game and the miller lite tent. It is cool to get the ad but it was wierd that he kept calling it mean green stadium. Anyone else hear this?

I'm glad someone is talking about how bad a coach drake is. This guy doesn't know how to coach at this level. He should have gotten the ax when Mendoza did. As far as special teams go he is not fit to hold eric russells jock. And he doesn't coach the dt's hardly at all which is ok for the players with college experience but is terrible for the kids who are young and developing. Film sessions with that guy is a joke. I dont know how much the average guy knows about film study but you dont just let the film run. He is an average highschool coach and that is where he belongs. A terrible hire by dodge.

You should see the passion johnny exibited while juggling chainsaws. Amazing. Also the passion he showed so many lovely ladies around the campus was impressive.

I take everything with a grain of salt. You dont have to be a genious to be on a radio show, or president for that matter.

Tackling is about heart, grit and nastiness. Technique is imporant, but being in position and want to are just as important.

Drake getting canned is long over due. There as been a sharp drop off from the Eric Russell coached special teams. Remember when we used to block four or five punts a year. That was coaching not coincidence. Drake is not ready for this level.

Dude what did you expect. Did you see any of our earlier perfomances? If you did then you should be able to tell that we perfomed much better against far superior competition. If we play this way against rice, we should win. Of course no one likes losing. As far as hanging in the belt being good enough, what more do you want. Sorry but we are probably not playing for the bcs title this year, get over it. That's just not where we are right now. Dodge is overhalling an f'd up dickey team. So improving against the national champs is something to talk about. And winning the belt is good enough for now and would be a huge step forward. we get a shot at one of the best teams in the country. So what if we get smashed. LSU will smash a lot of teams this year. Stop crying and be proud of any accomplishments our boys can achieve against the defending national champs. Its the opportunity of a life time for these kids.

I thought this thread was going to be about how hard the old turf was at fouts. That was like playing in the parkinglot. You wouldn't believe the roadrash you could get from falling on that stuff.

2 scenarios: todge won't leave unt until rodge graduates. Todge realized the situation he got himself into in Denton and with all of you yahoos, and is expediating his exodus to the big 12 by pushing rodge through as quickly as possible. The other is that he wants Riley to have his reshirt for later when he leaves for the big12 so Riley doesn't have to lose a year of eligibility due to transfer. I wouldn't be a mean green fan if I didn't beleive in conspiracy or question authority!
