  1. possibly one of the best personal accomplishments in north Texas history considering his journey. Great kid. Go casey go.
  2. I hope those two never combine on a coaching staff again. I don't know how they won at southlake Carroll. I fear a rip in the space time continueum if that much suck is brought together again on the same team.
  3. after this season he might be tossing pizza dough. long live the tomato!!!!!
  4. my mistake on the Steve warren comment. Thanks for correcting me. Also kartay agbotta has been injured most of the season.
  5. He coaches safeties. Safeties aren't responsible for all the stops. I think the safeties have shown improvement though which reflects well on peterson. I think Steve Warren has really showed up lately. I just don't think Peterson is the guy to point the finger at right now. You have a much broader target if you want to come down on coach drake. I don't see the same overwelming evidence to involve the safeties coach as taking a large part of this blame. But if some one wants to bash drake I will be happy to help out there.
  6. That doesn't mean anything. He played the position and has a good enough concept of how its done and can relay that to players. Most coaches coach positions they never played at some point and do fine. Coaches switch the positions they coach and the results usually don't drop. When rick gailey switched from t end coach to recevers coach, quinn, muzzy and others production didn't suffer because he had never coached it. Often it comes down to the players. Eric Russell wasn't a knowledgable d end coach but awasom and company did alright. The d coordinator coaches the coaches on how they want their players technique and play to be. If your a good coach you present the information in ways players can absorb and apply. Peterson has proven he is a good coach and I really don't blame him for this mess cause he hasn't coached this exact position in awhile. Where's the flaw in this pudding.
  7. Mendoza took over a defense that returned 9 starters and ranked in the 70's nationaly and and turned it into a poop poor ( worse than piss poor) defense. His cuboard was full, less can be said as for what Deloach started with. Bliel was grossly underated and really was a very good coach.
  8. Chuck Peterson played some db at airforce. I saw him on an espn classic game against notre dame. He got Mossed in the endzone but that is neither here nor there. Also he won the assistant coach of the year award for d1 at some point in the last 5 years with airforce so he can't be that bad.
  9. Throw another owl on the barbi! (Austalian accent)
  10. If someone puts this on youtube they need to put the convoy song with it with the rubber duck on the cb radio. That song is corny but would still be funny.
  11. Im not positive about your question because I'm not sure who they is in the question. I will say NCAA tests are mandatory and random. Usually once a semester, fall, spring, summer. Team tests can be as frequent as needed and at anytime. Ask me your question differently and I will try to answer you better.
  12. I'm glad that there are some homers out there. There are so many haters of this school and program in the dfw that it is refreshing to have some homer support in the media. We have far less homers than most schools so I appreciate the any we can get.
  13. From what I have witnessed, the upper middle class kid has as many or more issues with weed, prescription drugs and other narcotics as the stereotypical inner city kid. In my experience it stems from too much money and too much time on their hands, mommy and daddy sweeping up any problems they may have, and a sense of being above the rules and self importance.
  14. This was Dodge conducting his own team tests. The NCAA doesn't test for narcotics, only performance inhancers. Narcotic tests are only administered by the institution or the individual team. Dodge thought there was a problem and his suspicions were verified by a test he initiated.
  15. I'll be sure to pick that up so I can read it while Im on the pooper. That way its easier to wipe my a$$ with that austin rag.
  16. The only bowl we will see smu in is the toiletbowl.
  17. I don't think he was the sole reason we lost. I just listed some things about the team that needed improvement and a discussion insued about vizza. I blame the defense and playcalling much more.
  18. I dissagree
  19. Who's Massen Gill?
  20. Does that mean you agree and it makes you sick ? or does that mean you dissagree with my assesment and I make you sick? If the latter is true be prepared to be challenged to a deathmatch in the thunderdome.
  21. 0-8 can wear on anybody. What more does he have left to say. We have lost for the same reasons each game so I'm sure he gets sick of listing the same shiznit over and over about why we blow balls right now. I see what your saying but I also understand where the don is coming from. Even pros duck an interview now and then. Its just the frustration starting to show a little off the field. I guess its just not that big of a deal to me. On the upside some less known player gets to fill his spot and give a different perspective on what's going wrong.
  22. despite how good we made them look, that d line is the real deal. I can't remember the number but the d lineman that was about 6'5'' is the next troyboy to go to the league.
  23. Navy beats smwho with no passes. Why do I feel like Dickey and Flano are smiling somewhere and highfiving. And I don't care what anyone says, I'm a unt alumni and smu is my rival. Who's coming with me?
  24. Knott looked improved Spencer has a thunderboot I really like the aggresiveness I saw out of Warren, around the ball all night Fitz is a man amongst small small children, a possible more darkly complected reencarnation of his mightiness JQ
  25. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch the kid run people over and he has the heart and spirit of a champion. But in this jacked up dodge system he just isn't making the throws on time or in the right spots. He was running for his life at times last night, but he threw picks when he had time and threw behind Fitz or in the wrong spot. He had a lot of balls that were near picks. I guess my biggest dissapointment with the don is that I'm not seeing improvement in the way he's throwing the rock. But let me restate that I love the way he approaches the game and he has great fire, and I his leadership is great. I just question some of the throws he's lofting across the middle. I would love to see him on the field every game, maybe just not at qb.
