2025 Schedule possible 10-2 with 7 home games
Texas Stranger replied to blg green eagle man's topic in Mean Green Football
Will he be the starter there? C Morris isn't a C Rogers situation (looking for one last big NIL payday). He has a legit NFL chance and needs to be somewhere that he'll be "The Guy" guaranteed, not at risk of losing the job in Spring or Summer practice, or losing the job after a bad day at Tuscaloosa or Ann Arbor.. If that opportunity develops in the SEC/Big Ten/Big XII, then so be it. The biggest risk I see is if E Morris gets a P-4 gig or if Chad Morris gets a P-4 OC gig. -
5 and 3 entering the second bye week.

Maybe considering that the offense was forced into a track meet last week, and we're playing a similar team this week, (but at home). Or will the OL be able to assert a running game? Several factors to consider.

How confident are we?

Game 7, have your opinions changed?

I'm thinking we will have an easier time running the ball than passing. Against Michigan State, the Spartans only had 114 yards passing in a low-offense game for both teams. The Spartans have only scored 25 or more once, against Prairie View. Army did Army things to them, and didn't need to throw the ball, the Cadets had 44 yards passing. FIU got boatraced in the 2nd quarter by the Owls, and were forced into a track meet. Even then, the Panthers only had 281 yards passing on 35 attempts. U Conn did to FAU what Army did, running early, often, and very effectively. The Huskies had 421 yards rushing and 121 passing. It's the only time this season UConn has run the ball like that. It doesn't look like Wagner was competitive, but they did manage 112 passing yards. In summation, it looks like FAU's pass defense is quite a bit better than their run defense.

Well then we'd better get used to it, because we have 7 home game seasons coming up in 2025, 2027, and 2029. 2027 and 2029 have 3 September home games in a row currently.

Only if the river and mountains backdrop is the sole criteria. Otherwise, it's South Seattle.

I'm thinking maybe lock up the belt until 2 of 3 criteria are met: hold a FBS opponent to less than 350 yards of total offense hold a FBS opponent to less than 25 points generate 5 takeaways in a game. -
Where on the stat sheet can you find that? (scored against "scrubs"). Is it located near the Style Points?
