  1. Calling people haters is an attempt to score points on the Internet. The things I do to support the Mean Green are because I enjoy doing them. We should stay in our lanes. I am in the fan lane. Eric Morris is in the getting paid $1 million a year to win games lane.
  2. If I'm a fair weather fan when was the fair weather? I've been rooting for this team since I transferred to UNT when it was still called NTSU.
  3. I'm going to assume that we are mostly average fans here, not donors writing big checks. Some people on GMG think they can shame us into giving more in the hopes that money will produce wins on the field, but that's unrealistic. Non-rich alumni give money to their school's athletic programs when they are excited. They don't see a bunch of losses piling up, a new coach stumbling out of the block and open up their wallets. For us, the money follows the success, not the other way around. The only people capable of turning their money directly into athletic success are the big donors living the suite life who could bankroll an NIL collective and better facilities. That ain't us. We aren't loaded and we are completely immune to shame, otherwise we wouldn't be UNT fans at all.
  4. I'm not calling to fire anybody but the defense didn't play really good. We gave up 331 yards on the ground and were already the worst in rushing defense in the American before this game, giving up 241 yards a game.
  5. You started talking about the game after I posted that comment. I feel like I helped you grow as a person. I might be the wind beneath your wings.
  6. We didn't. We fired Littrell for anybody but Littrell.
  7. They could have gotten extra space with a delay of game. They didn't need to look foolish by having two players in motion trying to sack their running back pre-snap.
  8. Damn. Felt like a win was ours for the taking today.
  9. That Navy play with two players in motion was hilarious.
  10. Nice response by the offense. If we could scheme our defense up to even average FBS quality we might have something this season.
  11. Correction: Except when it happens to us.
  12. I don't buy this excuse. We had one of the highest coaching payrolls and athletic budgets in CUSA and we're competitively funded in the American. We are not spreading around NIL money like a P5 school but aside from SMU nobody in our conference is. Telling average fans to give more money is a waste of time when the results on the field don't deserve more money.
  13. It's helmet to helmet, announcers. That's a penalty all the time!
  14. Nice catch! Held on knowing the Mack truck was coming right at him.
  15. We can still win this game but I'm not mortgaging the house to bet on it.
  16. You are arguing about board moderation during a game while telling people they should be focusing on the game. And you're not even discussing the game!
  17. We hire coaches who dig their own graves.
  18. I should check myself for one. Rogers is back in and I didn't notice.
  19. Maybe a concussion check at halftime?
  20. Our tackling looks like a knife fight in West Side Story with lots of dramatic lunges where nobody hits anybody.
  21. This is my least favorite UNT helmet. There's so little contrast between the dark green Texas and black eagle that if a person in that helmet committed a crime, no witness would know what school they were from.
  22. UNT alumni can multitask. Is it just me or does the air smell a little sweeter this afternoon and are birds singing more sweetly?
  23. On Rogers' touchdown run the announcers were as slow to recognize it as the Navy defense. Didn't act like it was a touchdown until he was practically to the goal line.
