I think it’s a lot more complex than just this question. This early in the season, being the second blow out and a tough game coming up where your starters are going to have to play 4 quarters I can see why you leave them in a little longer if for not much more than conditioning. You just can’t simulate the physical demands of a game in practice.

A typical 2-3 traps in the corner? you have no clue lol, maybe at the wing, but not the corner if you are trapping in the corner a 1-3-1 or 1-2-2 are much better. Every defense has weaknesses, if you run a 2-3 you are susceptible to an over load, high low or someone screening the back side of your zone driving and forcing the bottom guy to either stop penetration or take away the 3. If you run man people can run ALL kinds of sets against you that force you to decide what you want to take away.

The answer is neither.... It's going to change game to game depending on the match-ups... If someone puts a big on him put him on the perimeter and stretch the defense if they try to go smaller on him to contain him off the dribble then post up the smaller player
