  1. Adler, thanks for putting the fight song You Tube video up. Mine had inadvertantly been deleted from my favorites and I needed something to get my football pants stirred up again.
  2. Not to mention his last name has the first syllable of "Fitz". That has to be a plus.
  3. Count me in as liking the alternate look(s). Besides, we could say... gitcha some of that, Oregon Ducks.
  4. In other words, the Death Penalty.
  5. My 8 ball gave a much sunnier answer: http://m8ball.nicksoft.info/index.php?answer=663492
  6. Wins = butts in seats. Period.
  7. I never included SLC in my comment nor did I intend to. I have no quarrel with Carroll or its fans. BTW, I am very happy with my position in life and could very well afford to drive a BMW (even though BMWs weren't included in my original comments either). If I did acquire a BMW though, it would be because I WORKED for and EARNED it, not because daddy wrote a check to the local Beemer dealership and it showed up in the driveway with a red ribbon wrapped around it. Also BTW, what emmitt said...
  8. As much as I like muts, I still smile every time I see SMUt. Ragging on a directional Tennessee school is fun but I still prefer sticking it to those Biff and Buffy silver spoon trust fund babies.
  9. I would like to be the first to steal KRAM's unofficial signature line and say... GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING FOR MEAN GREEN ATHLETICS!!!!
  10. Ditto for me. I got there about 15 minutes after Nolan Ryan had left to chase down some muskie on Lake Otsego. He had been there for some promotional work since he was to be inducted into the Hall that summer. If you love baseball as I do, the place is an absolute shrine. I have been twice and will go back whenever I'm in that part of the country again. Also, when there, check out Doubleday Field. I was lucky and there was a high school game being played while I was there. The old wooden stands and roof over the stands reeks of stale beer and cigar smoke from days gone by but again, that is a sweet aroma for those of us who really love baseball.
  11. I don't personally know anyone who lives there, but given the griping and sniping by the Denia homeowners group, I would like to propose a name change of their neighborhood to the Denia(l) Homeowners Association.
  12. Prayers sent... Peace and strength to the family. Kurt G.
  13. Aim higher... The Governor's mansion could use an infusion of fresh air and common sense too. First things first though, fix Denton now.
  14. Oh well, conspiracies aside, they ARE both tools. On that we can agree.
  15. Conspiracy Theory of the Day: CheckFacts = Phil Young Think about it, backgrounds are not that dissimilar.
  16. Our team doesn't have ponies (or stickers) on their helmets. That's REAL good!
  17. I noticed he cited the need to attend a school with access to a law school after graduation. Hmmmmmm.....
  18. The wheels are already off on the Thomas era at FIU. I saw on Sportscenter tonight where Thomas was introduced as Isaiah "Thompson" at his press conference.
  19. SMUt... I just can't stand those empty headed, beemer driving, binge drinking trust fund babies. The good news is, all those millions they throw at their Div. I athletics programs was $$$ down the rabbit hole.
  20. Thank you very much. Now lets show this prehistoric b!#ch how we do things downtown.
  21. Fire, brimstone, dogs and cats living together, you know, real wrath of God stuff.
  22. You know, there is a WAC school or two near the Pacific Ocean. Maybe a subliminal message for all of us??? Hmmmmmmmm......
  23. I don't know about ants but I love the Pacific Ocean backdrop behind the pressbox.
  24. ...and all this time, I was thinking this was a thread about the prospects of SMU(rf) basketball for 2009/2010.
