IMO, TD has brought about the best caliber athletes here that could be expected for a floundering program in the weakest D1 conference in America. I agree. This team isn't exactly blessed with an abundance of weapons, but there's enough there that if they come out with a "put a boot on their throat and keep it there until the final gun sounds" mentality, an arse whooping of this magnatude could very well happen.

Option 1 for me... At first glance, 1-4 is butt ugly. However, excluding the 'Bama game, all contests we've played have been in doubt until the 4th quarter. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have some real bad memories of games being out of hand by the 1st quarter last season. I would love to see more wins right now too but I'm willing to see the "half full" glass of Kool Aid in front of me and appreciate the fact that this teams stock is on the rise. There's plenty of time in '09 to make this season bearable in terms of record and with another solid recruiting class and the help that is on the way, '10 looks pretty tasty.

Overall, I would have to say yes. Maybe FAU's fall from the elite of the Belt might take a smidge of the luster off, but hey, it's a team we've never beaten before so again I have to vote yes.

Because last season we were THAT BAD. I still say the future looks very good.

They seem to be, top to bottom a level headed realistic group of fans. Confident, but not rabid homers either. What a golden opportunity for UNT to open eyes in other parts of the country that our stock is rising and I don't mean laughingstock.
