  1. Sweeeeet! We sue the Denia group for $78 million, pay off the stadium costs, and take the funds raised so far to begin expansion to 50K thus creating an even bigger parking/traffic problem in their neighborhood. Sounds like a win/win for the good guys.
  2. Was that sign on UNT property? What are those people doing trespassing on university property? Yet another HOA out of control.
  3. I have to admit, Sun Belch does kinda make me giggle.
  4. Don't underestimate the addition of Coach Chico and an influx of more talented players compared to the last time we visited Ford. Call it blind faith or overimbibing in the green kool-aid, but I believe this is the year we begin the climb to respectability and by the time the SMUt series resumes, we will be putting more talent on the field than our silver spoon friends in University Park. Of course, if I'm wrong, I'll take my lumps.
  5. Check that map out. I guess when Utah left the MWC for the PAC Whatever, they had to leave their nickname behind for Utah State.
  6. Exactly! All we need to do is, in a couple of years, march into Ford Stadium and beat the lips off of June's little ponies. Amazingly, smack talk by the usual SMUt suspects will drop off dramatically.
  7. Please answer the following with a yes or no then feel free to add commentary at your discretion. Question: Are you completely worn out with UNT to the WACy surveys? Talk amongst yourselves.
  8. Yes Yes
  9. Sounds darn near like a verbal right there.
  10. We're out of the bottom five. I guess that's good.
  11. Black on black...trimmed in black?
  12. 1. ULM--$95.00 2. UNT--$90.00 9. WKU--$30.00 ULM is the most expensive seat in the Belt??? Three times more than WKU??? That is NOT serving your demographic very well.
  13. Yeah he played for the Packers... he damn sure did Bob.
  14. How about a "multi ethnic" Vader? His helmet could be one shade of green, say, the granny smith apple green from the 70's. His cape could be kelly green. His boots could be toothpaste green. His lightsaber could be the forest green we just used a few years ago. All sides would be represented and no need for violence.
  15. Well then, how about tortilla wrapped vuvuzelas? I mean, taking two unoriginal ideas and combining them into one constitutes an original idea, right???
  16. So how do Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa feel about sharing a conference bed with us?
  17. May be a moot point if Baylor becomes the 6th Big XII invitee instead of CU.
  18. Snobbery aside, I just can't get my arms around why SMU wouldn't tolerate being in a conference with us. They have a stadium that regularly sits half empty and a visit from UNT every other year would put butts in seats, period. College football is littered with "backyard brawls" i.e., Pitt/Penn St., USC/UCLA, Rice/Houston, SMU/TCU, Cal/Stanford etc. I know the silver spoons sticking out of their mouths seem to prevent clear thinking on certain matters, but on paper, this is a no-brainer. Fans on both sides come out ahead and don't we both need that now?
  19. That column makes so much sense it's scary. CU in the PAC 16 makes zero geographical sense for them (not that the Big XII is anything to write home about). CU in the MWC, much better.
  20. This scenario makes for a pretty tasty basketball conference.
  21. Fixed to better represent the SMUt fandom.
  22. All I can say is, thank you sweet clean Basketball Jesus.
  23. NORTE
  24. F Stephan Lu... F the DaMN... F K-State... North Texas SHOCKS THE NATION March 18, 2010 GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!!!!
  25. I just read the emaw board and I have a wheelbarrow full of +1's for The Tasty Greek for his dismantling of the whole roster of their posters. It was pure poetry, I tell ya.
