What's even crazier is you could quite possibly have 4 Big 12 South teams with 10+ wins. I don't think I've ever seen that in a conference, much less one division of a conference.

Dickey had phoned it in. There were a lot of things that contributed to his firing (not just on the field performance- or lack thereof) and he had to go. It's that simple. The question is not whether or not Dickey should have stayed, the question is whether Todd Dodge was a good hire. Right now, it doesn't appear to be but I'm blindly optimistic it magically changes. I'm also hoping to finally get the unicorn I've been requesting for Christmas for the last 10 years. Fingers crossed...

I think they get a pass because a win against LSU on the road just sounds more impressive than a win against OK State at home. Whether justified or not. I don't think its going to matter, however, as I fully expect Florida to step-child Bama in the SEC champ game. After watching that Tech game, I have to admit I was wrong about OK state and Tech. Tech is a very good team. I think they can win on the road in Norman. If so, Florida and Tech will make for an entertaining matchup, though I really don't think anyone can play with UF's speed right now.

On a seriouser note, I don't think KSU would let Prince go unless they had something they thought was better in place, egats, Patterson.

Well on the radio today they announced 10th ranked Utah STATE beat TCU last night, so Im sure he's elated. That MWC is really giving them the exposure they needed to break into new markets.

Thanks for looking up the facts. It could be a function of the offenses they are playing against as well, though they havent even taken on OK State or OU, so that would be hard to say. I think what you saw Saturday was Texas at the end of a ridiculous stretch in an incredible college football environment on the road and not having enough left in the secondary due to age and injury to pull that game out. Tech's D was inspired. It was a hell of a game for them and credit is deserved. This the best Tech team I've ever seen. I think Ok State's D will surprise Tech and OU will be a shootout. The Big 12 South is just really good this year. I'd love to see how one of those teams would match up Florida.

Thought so too. I don't think T-Mac looked very good at all tonight. What I am excited about is that the Rockets, much like sexy-time Ms South Carolina, appear to have some quality depth. That should only improve with Battier's return. Its a long season. As we saw tonight, Artest could very easily end up in the middle of a skirmish (why he was anywhere near that I haven't any idea) and T-Mac could/almost certainly will get hurt or have issues with his metaphorical vagine. I do like the chemistry of this team. Also, Josh Howard is a man-beast.

To me, 'scrotum' is one of those words that perfectly resembles the object which it describes. Kind of like 'puke' or 'lazer'- it just works.
