  1. I tried it for 3 weeks until I realized how INSANE it is to want everyone to know what you're doing every single waking hour of the day. I don't care what most people are doing. If I did, I'd call and ask. I think its lunacy. So I deleted mine. Myspace is next. Facebook, I think I'll hang on to that one for a while. Great place to troll for high school chicks.
  2. Seriously. This is a really strange decision by all parties involved.
  3. Depends... what happens if they learn to read?
  4. you have the best posts. Regarding the topic at hand, OU will prob jump Texas after next weekend... assuming everyone wins the games they are supposed to. However, if FLA loses to FSU then beats Alabama, things could be really interesting with UT and OU in the #1 and #2 spot. Ahhh what a world.
  5. what happens if squirrels are allowed to develop nuclear weapons?
  6. THOSE WERENT INCLUDED IN THE CHOICES! but it was funny. Also, this is a useless thread because nobody actually knows. If they did know, they'd include the requisite ' ' which denotes insider information. Hellooooo!
  7. This is the part where I digress and offer it's what the title of the thread made me think. Im not sure what that says about me, but Im cool with it. Go Mean Green
  8. I read an article the other day that stated Texas Tech actually out-spent OU over the last 5-6 years...
  9. I actually had the exact same thought last night. Unfortunately, his D's performance last night probably put him out of our reach.
  10. nice non-sequitur... or was it?
  11. I think you might be wrong. JM informed O.
  12. we've already got one TD and I think that's more than enough for now.
  13. He can cop a plea I have seen it on T.V. Law & Order rules.
  14. no, but I did tell her about how many non-homophobic hispanics we have. WIN!
  15. so I was looking for a graphic with "teach me"... throw that phrase in your google image search. Im just saying. It's amazing.
  16. No, but you can spell 'undawhelming', 'pizza', and 'mediokitty', which are foundational to countless threads of jackassery. For the record, I bought every copy of this "magazine" off the shelf at the grocery store so that NOBODY else could read about T.U. I even took one out of a lady's "hand" on my way out and replaced it with a short list of UNT's achievements and famous alumni (NORAH JONES ) and a MEAN GREEN t-shirt. GMG!!@!!!@!!!!!!
  17. This game really didn't tell us anything about either team (and I would have said the same thing had the Rockets won). McGrady, Artest and Yao were all game-time decisions due to injury. Josh Howard didn't play. McGrady shouldn't have played. Yao didn't play. Neither of these teams are who they will be in January, Feb, etc. The Rockets do have depth, however they are still- like the mavs- learning to play together in their system. The fact the Rockets were still in the game early in the 4th qtr inspite of all this gives me hope. I like what Aaron Brooks brings to the table. Also I forgot about Shane Battier, who is a hell of a defender. Be nice to get him back too. The Rockets do need to find a big man if (when) Ming is out again. Shooting 2-17 in the 3rd qtr is hard to stomach, so I don't blame anyone for leaving on a week night. Plus the Mavs arent as big a draw for Houston fans as LA, SA, Boston, etc. And yes, much like Cowboy fan, we'll still point to the rings from the early 90s even though we haven't even been close since.
  18. They would appear that way but they were actually modeled after other Under Armour uniforms. Similar white helmets with stripes, etc... ...ahhh, they're pretty much SLC uniforms minus the helmet stickers (which as I've already stated is the key ingredient to a winning football program- SLC didn't get there with play calling).
  19. you guys want to have a serious, legit program and yet we still don't even have helmet stickers. Give me a break.
  20. Read this earlier. I thought it was a well-organized op-ed piece. Makes some good points. Throwing money at a problem won't fix a system that doesnt work. The system needs to be overhauled.
  21. But only if that person had some medium to convey that thought to the others elsewhere in the world, right? That doesn't cover two seemingly independent persons having the same thought at the same time, without having any contact. That seems more random than chaotic, but Im quickly getting outside my scope of knowledge.
  22. I may be wrong, but this seems like a brilliant move. Let Muschamp learn under Mack, then when the time comes, Muschamp takes over as HC and Co-Defensive coordinator, promote Applewhite to OC...and Mack sits back as AD and oversees the whole operation. Gives them a relatively young, experienced staff with Texas ties.
  23. and with the direction of the economy, they might. Rich Rod has every advantage in college football so he really doesnt have any excuses. He should EASILY be able to turn this program around in 2 years. Nick Saban did it at Bama. To borrow a line from the greatness of Bum Phillips, good coaches can take theirs and beat yours, and take yours and theirs. In other words, good coaches know how to get the most out of what they've got and at places like Texas, Michigan, OU and Bama, that should translate to more than 3 wins.
  24. I'll probably make it out that way, should be fun.
