  1. i like it.
  2. I'm somewhat interested in making the trek over to College Station for this game.
  3. This will be a tough game for us as that rickety-ass arena is a touch place to play.
  4. Fair enough. And I'm totally down for bringing in Texas Southern or Prairie View. As a Houston native, I've seen plenty of halftime shows and it is truly a unique experience. (I know, Aggies- yall have a cute halftime show too).
  5. Decision's been made. Ditto. Support. Green. But for real, I really do think we're close... which is why I'm not butt-hurt over this decision
  6. Whoa. Okay, can we assume they'll bring more away fans than FIU? FAU? LAMO? LALA? I mean, let's not pick apart everything everyone on this board says. I think we're still on the same side, yeah? Also, whether we like it or not, we've played them more than anyone else in our history. They can say the same for us. Graduates of schools in Texas end up in one of three places if they stay in state. One of those is DFW. I'm guessing they have alum in the area................
  7. But they didn't lose, and look where they are. K-State hasn't always sucked. Just so you know, there isn't a 1AA in football, either... since we're nitpicking. BUT my point was actually about scheduling teams you "should" beat as a way to build confidence and get your team into a winning. Something else to consider is the fact that we are now completely irrelevant. I guess my point is that nobody will really care if we do besides our own fans... why not play a regional team at home?
  8. I'm going to start a topic. And I have a serious question. How does this "okay, will give you one more year to see what you can do so you better perform" ultimatum affect recruiting this year? I assume you sell the school and the program, not so much the coach. But I would also think the Tulsa's, SMU's etc of the world absolutely use this against us. Caw.
  9. The stadium is more for the fans. And if it consistently draws out more fans, that will help the gameday experience which should help recruiting. Stretch, maybe.
  10. Yeah, but... It helped get SMU into a bowl game this year. It's how K-state built their program. Locally, A&M did it with their basketball program. Losing to a 1AA isn't the worst thing that could happen. Remember, 5-31 lives here.
  11. Man, now people are going to start second-guessing any questionable coaching moves he makes.
  12. For real. Let's have the bobcats up for a game. Why the hell not? We'll beat em, they'll bring fans (read: scattered tail) and everyone wins.
  13. I don't know why this made me laugh out loud. Maybe it's all the drugs.
  14. "this theory cannot be proven" /robot greggo
  15. yeah, I think I'll mix myself a Judy Garland cocktail and catch yall on the flipside.
  16. hahaha. I remember when I said that a couple years ago, then when and bore witness to the bowels of hell opening and swallowing every shred of hope I ever had for UNT football.
  17. you're making jokes, right?
  18. The important thing to glean from all of this is that our program is a delicate flower that needs constant tending and the most gentle of care.
  19. What will it take?
  20. MK6TXMsvgQg
  21. shirtless. in bibs. h-o-t.
  22. M-I-C...K-E-Y.... M-O-U-S-E
  23. We'll we're building a $70mill stadium, so... I hope so?
