I never said anything about the Big 12... I haven't any interest in the Big 12. If only we lived in a world where a directional state school could start a football program from scratch and end up in a BCS conference some 10 years later...

Also, while Houston will certainly make a big push, the Big 12 centered around Dallas, and A&M and UT already have Houston recruiting on lock. I cant imagine a world where UT supports the inclusion of UH into anything they are a part of. Of course, I find it hard to believe they'd be a fan of anyone in the DFW market, either.

I suspect we'd see a fairly significant up-tick in fan interest if were playing the A&M, OU, Nebraska, etc every year. Being a part of a "relevant" conference will pull all sorts of folk up out the woodwork.

Well he certainly started off well. Caught the press conference... cause for optimism for Jayhawks. I find it wildly humorous KU fans think Kansas is a better job than Stanford.

He made his career with back to back rushing champs, ripping off 26 straight conference wins while taking us to four straight bowl games on the back of a highly-ranked defense. He lost his career due to a myriad of issues that have already been rehashed here to the point of massive skull-crushing power down fail.

HA. I don't understand why anyone cares what bowl SMU goes to. If I'm SMU, my first choice is New Orleans due to its close proximity to Dallas and potential for whimsy. My second pick would absolutely be Hawaii.
