i may be late to this party, but I've never been able to get Outlook to work with anyone's AT&T U-verse internet. This is after sitting on the with tech support about a hundred thousand minutes on multiple occasions only to be told "it should work" but "it may not be compatible." So if you use Outlook, it's something to consider. I've never had a problem with any other provider.

This. Outside of that, I don't know why anyone wouldn't think we'd be a natural fit for the MWC, should they be interested in the Texas market- which by all accounts, they are. Houston and NT. Makes too much sense. But I'm admittedly biased.

TSU is in Houston. I don't know what SWT uses as their acronym these days... and I really don't care. It's a fine school. If they get it together and want to play us, I'm all for it. We've played Texas State more than any other school in the history of our Football program (and hold a commanding all-time lead)... so I'm not opposed to rekindling that rivalry's flame. I'm also not worried they'll pass us by. Not even a little. I am, however, a little jealous of their baseball program.

While we're rolling out overused cliches, are you familiar with the one about assuming? I spent several seasons on the deck. I don't think we'll miss it with a brand new stadium. The sight lines from the deck completely sucked (just like the rest of Fouts) and the food, for the most part, wasn't any better than anything we cooked up in the parking lot before the game. I also happen to think $900-1400 isn't a bad price for Club seats... and I say that as someone who most definitely cannot afford them. If you can't swing the Club seats, the regular admission seats are STILL the best deal in the Metroplex- that's where I'll be. So we can hang out together and actually see what's going on in the game. I'll buy us a coke and a funnel cake. (wait, we're still going to have funnel cake, right? .............New thread?)

Thoughts on UNT to the WAC if Texas State and UTSA also join? Seems that would give us some natural in-state rivals. Just looking for some opinions.

If I'm the MWC, I take UH and UNT, grab two of the largest TV markets in the nation (with two of the better mid-major basketball programs). You then gamble on UNT getting back to winning in Football and being committed to continuing to to do so based on the investments made in facilities and the coaching staff in place.

Maybe Coach Mac wasn't interested in IU. Seems to me it's pretty much the same job he had at ISU in the Big 12.

It would do the MWC well to grab UH and UNT and place a large stake in the State of Texas. But that's just my opinion, which smells like whiskey.
