I really only have interest in Wilson and Vizza. The rest have had chances (except Tune) and proven nothing. It will be interesting to see if Wilson can run the offense, checkdowns, etc. If he CAN run it, he's the guy I want- because he can RUN it and that adds a whole other dimension to the offense. Oh and I don't care about throwing motion as long as the guy gets it where it's supposed to go. A certain #10 had an awful throwing motion and it didn't seem to stop him from beating the ESPN-dubbed GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM EVER ASSEMBLED IN ALL OF CREATION AND ETERNITY FOR EVER AND EVER MORE AMEN. Give the guy a break, he frequents the board and often offers his own opinions from a different perspective. You'd think for a program that is pining for bandwagon fans such as ours, we wouldn't give our "secondary" fans a hard time for offering up their thoughts and would gladly welcome anyone who wishes success for our program. And yes, 8 pages of bitching about Stadium Status with almost ZERO factual information is quite exhausting- no matter your primary allegiance.

A stadium alone will not a program make, but it doesnt hurt to plan ahead. People think NT athletics is a joke because there's never been any kind of commitment or embrace by the admin. I think this culture is changing, so for once, I say use some foresight and go big. It won't cost you much more, and it shows you are serious- to potential coaching candidates in the future, potential recruits, potential students, and potential bandwagon fans.

Your post is all over the place, but this particular comment is right-on, in my opinion. As others have said, I think we need AT LEAST a 35-40k stadium expandable to 50k. It won't represent that much of an increase in cost, and it shows you are actually planning ahead- and COMMITTING to having a legit program and the accompanying fanbase. I think you'd get a lot more fans out if you showed you were serious about winning, serious about the program. Basically the old "if you build it, they will come" line of thought. THINK BIG!

They are picked to finish last due to their 0-12 season and a new coach, but they lost by less than a TD in 5 of their 12 games, including AT Maryland and AT South Florida and lost another by 10. you are absolutely correct, it did go for a touchdown and replay showed he was clearly out of bounds before catching the ball. However, if you're the Oilers, you really can't point to that being the 'reason' you lost (though it certainly helped with the momentum factor). When you blow a 32 point lead in a playoff game, you almost deserve it. It was disgusting, on all fronts. Unless you were a Bills fan, of course.
