well on the roster Moore isn't #65....#65 is actually Marcus Love which is even better! the name Moore looks to be in a different font and off-centered, but thats just me.

ok guys, good feedback. Thankyou greenbat for posting the explanation of the safeway bowl. I'd like to see both schools embrace the name for this game, as I think this is a textbook example of how a fun tradition is born. We tried to put "Safeway Parking Lot Bowl" but it the front of the shirt got a little too busy. "Safeway Bowl" is easier, and I've seen it referred to as such in the DMN more than a couple times. I'm talking to a vendor right now working out the price, etc. Also waiting to hear back from a few other people to find out how many i'm gonna have done. I'll let you know soon.... not to totally go off-topic, but I read an interesting article regarding SMU's campaign to get the Bush library. They started making a push back in 2001, including presenting their case to Bush in person at the ranch in Crawford. Anyways, Todd Dodge is awesome.

I realize another shirt was posted last week. At the same time these were being designed by a good friend of mine here in Houston. This is supposedly the actual PMS color indicated on the branding site, though it looks pretty terrible. The shirts will be the same color as the ones you saw at the cookout and meangreengear.com, gonna order them sometime this week. working on getting some prices and finding out how soon I could get them done. Thought I'd gage interest, get an idea of demand/feasibility!

no question there will be more confidence... I hope Im wrong. I just think new QB, new offense, and top defense- plus an offense that doesn't run out the clock like DD's is a recipe for a blow out. HOWEVER, that being said, it's also a recipe for an upset. You never know...

I completely disagree with TCU poster. UNT is going to be a ginormous (look it up, it's a word) school in a few years- one of the largest in the state. That means, odds are, somebody knows someone who is affiliated with, graduated from, or is attending North Texas. There's a connection there for most people in the metroplex. Not the case for the privates. TCU is very much FW's team, but I don't know that that translates to the rest of the metroplex. UNT is located at the intersection of both 35's, equidistant from both Ft Worth and Dallas, and all the suburbs in between. If ANY school could be the school of the Metroplex, it would be North Texas. Whether or not we are actually able to achieve that designation remains to be seen. I DO agree with the purple poster that wins will factor in heavily. A Boise-like season or at the very least showing the consistency TCU has show the past few years is absolutely necessary for this to come to fruition. SMU is not, nor will they ever be relevant in this conversation, in my opinion. They are far too polarizing and they still havent posted better than a .500 record in 20 years.

I dont think we'll score a touchdown on OU's defense. We'll likely have a freshman QB starting behind a questionable O-line with a brand new system. I could easily see a 45-6 scenario... maybe worse. And here's to hoping I am totally and completely wrong. In fact, if I am wrong I'll wear madras plaid shorts and loafers to the SMU game. hell I may do that anyway...
