I think if we worry about us and build a solid program, it really wont matter what conference we are in. Or Troy, for that matter. You win some big games, people give you respect. We havent yet done that.

Thats a good point, just never thought of Dibrell as a "burner", but Im all for putting the most talent on the field- regardless of age.

Im confused with the move to put Dibrell on the outside. I thought he was recruited to be a slot guy. Im also not sure what Fitzgerald has done to lose his spot or get moved inside.

wow 2 posts and I can see this thread is already on it's way to becoming a mega-asswhip. Whether or not anyone agrees with any war should have absolutely ZERO bearing on how our troops should be treated- with reverence and respect. I hope we have a lot of things planned to honor USMC birthday, our veterans, and our troops. It would be nice to have some classy things to write about in Denton after all the bullshit this past week...

I think the hip hop culture is one of many symptoms of a larger underlying problem. I don't believe it's an excuse, rather an example of what happens when you let go of certain moral convictions, expectations, family value, etc... And it's just one example. I could get on a soap box and go on and on but I'll save it for my own blog, spare you all the dissertation.

This really is a microcosm of what is going on in our society today. It's just unfortunate Dodge's name is getting dragged through the mud. I imagine he had no idea this year would be this tough. My hope is the team really comes together (tap the breaks, Quoner) like a family (resist the urge, please) and really gives Navy all they've got (ok fine, have at it). Would we get to ride in a fire engine? If so, Im in! (and before anyone asks, yes, my plan is to never grow up)

Im on record somewhere on this board saying I thought this crowd would surpass Baylor... now that our record is such an abysmal mess, it's going to be a lot more difficult, but I'll stick with it. If we have a crowd anywhere near 30k for this game with our record, it absolutely proves our fans will come watch our team face off against an opponent of which they have heard and reinforces the need to continually bring in "name" opponents or get into a conference of name opponents. (dead horse).
