Every win is meaningful. And I expect it would help get us to a better bowl somehow.

So AWESOME that he got to kick the field goal to win this game.

I get bein on my cable here in the MEM area, and they didn’t show the alumni side much but it looked pretty good. The student side didn’t look too bad by the second quarter. I’ve seen a lot worse from other programs at our level many times this season.

There are some things to fault about the team, but QB recruiting and development is so important, and that is going extremely well.

It is one of NT’s best wins ever, and this is a great season. Very proud!

He’s got great stuff. We do need someone who can come in and pound too though.

Whatever it takes for them to show some pride. Last weekend appeared to be about short-term self interest and taking advantage, not taking pride in contributing to something bigger. It reminded me way too much of days gone by. Hopefully they can bury that this time, and wearing black will be appropriate.

This defense will be fine as long as the offense puts up 70 points every game.

I don’t love the team; I love the brand. I will love the team when they have more than made up for the damage they’ve done to the brand.

I’m kind of late to this but just wanted to say my heart is warmed by the recognition of the prominence of our creative programs.

I would add that I read the negative comments mostly going to the leadership. We can’t expect youngsters to share our concern about where their performance fits in the overall image of the university. They are just doing what they love. Now because of all this I can’t shake the idea of a proper, abbreviated band arrangement of Ridin On The Wind. I expect it would be one of the coolest, most invigorating things you ever heard from a marching band. We have plenty of rockers who show up on our shores in Denton. I think it would be a lot of fun for the players.

That opinion post should be pulled because it contains the wrong opinion. But I’ll let our differences rest if you’ll simply state your support for adding Ridin On The Wind to the repertoire. By the way, Fly Like An Eagle goes down better if you have listened to the Neville Brothers version first. Besides sounding better, the message of the song comes through much more clearly. I wore a shirt with this avatar image on it to ACL one year. But it was not a great print. One of our other members created the image years ago.

If you can run for 450, there’s no reason to throw.

I will only support taking out ‘Fly Like An Eagle’ if it is replaced with Judas Priest’s ‘Ridin’ On The Wind’!
