I should clarify that my respect level for the coach who wanted to hire him, has NOT gone up. I'd expect after his public clash with the administration, that he will eventually find his way out the door.

Like it or not, UH is a step up at this time. But we have narrowed the gap a lot.

My respect level for SM, which by the way was not particularly low anyway, has gone up.

It is not a question what is suffering. The issue is lack of empathy and even glee in another's suffering. Someone like that should not be associated with the university at all. I'm all for a defender putting big hits on another competitor on the field. This sadness, on the other hand, is not the sort of Mean we need for the Green. Adios.

I just moved to Charlotte; so excited about Mean Green visit!! Can ride the train out to the tiny stadium.

What a tremendous difference from the Benford years! Very excited about this team; keep up the momentum!

Unfortunately we got matched up against a team that is at the top tier this season and we are more in the middle of the pack. There were other bowl teams NT would have had a better showing against. I am glad we are not in the bottom tier. You can say we looked bottom tier in that game but that’s not correct because the bottom tier is not in a game at this point.

Well there’s not much else going on out there, so it is understandable that people would support the local team. But yeh, like their stadium is not much to behold. If we could just get into that conference it would change everything.

I don’t know why they haven’t been coming up with a Stage 2 after the opponent adapts. You know the decent teams are going to adapt. Have to leave some surprises for them.

The thing especially magnificent about Torrey’s big TD run was he got it all the way there. I thought for sure that owl DB was going to get him by the 5 but he magically stayed up! I can only imagine how excited his family must have been to see him on that run. That was a great COLLEGE football game; i.e. one that has a lot of errors, but that is what you get in college football. Despite a lot of frustrations there were some wonderful performances. Very proud of that win.

I’m not going to say anything about this game until after Thursday. If Thursday is a win I’m not going to say anything about this game. If Thursday is a loss, I’ll have some things to say. If Thursday NT gets out to a big lead but loses anyway, I’ll have some extra things to say.
