SL has been past the clock at least since he got blown out on tv by Charlotte, led by a coach probably younger than some people still playing college football. The expectation of a coach is to build the fanbase and support. That takes personality, vision and consistent winning. Total failure. We have been wasting time. MT leadership is absolutely bombing this whole process. They could get a coach to recruit a different area if that is even needed. MAC would have been a decent fit for those two. Being in booming Nashville metro I have no idea how they can be getting left out of everything.

I put 'other' because current HC who has won is not specific enough. We need one who is winning this season and has been doing so in the immediate preceding seasons.

Dodge could not have been the 'right hire' if he was stupid enough to think he could win in college with a HS staff. Same as then, we need someone who is currently winning as a HC at the FBS or FCS level. I'm not going to scour around to find out who that is. That's AD's job. I happen to follow Toledo for MACtion on whatever night of the week in November, and they're not so great this year but that guy has been doing pretty good. So there's an example.
